adventure of a lifetime - Where do I start.... After 5 years I finally got the opportunity to travel back to Las Vegas. The highlight of each and every visit has always been a hike in the Valley of Fire. Words can not express how breathing the scenery is... and as if that isn't enough you have Adam! I've taken many types of different tours over numerous continents but have never came across someone like this guy! Ladies and gentlemen, Adam is absolutely amazing. It was my second tour with Adam, but the first for my girlfriend. She absolutely loved it!! Adam is very passionate about what he does and cares about the nature. He is very knowledgeable. On his tour you will learn a lot about the Valley of Fire, the plants you can find there, reptiles, animals, history and so on...As an army veteran, he will take extra care of you and make you feel safe at all times. The photographs he can take of you during the hike are of professional quality and free! All in all, don't look any further because you've found the best Valley of Fire tour and tour guide. Wonderful - must book! - Beyond 5 stars. The guide is truly passionate about hiking, nature, wildlife. He has immense respect for the earth and for other people. My family and I were treated amazing. There were snacks of all kinds, Gatorade, water, a veggie tray, we were never hungry. The car was clean and air conditioned. The route was scenic and customized to our needs. Wonderful!

Amazing tour! - My husband and I took our two kiddos on Adam's amazing tour! We had a blast and this was one of the most memorable parts of our trip to Las Vegas. An Outstanding Adventure Into a Beautiful Place - Adam did an amazing job! When we were booking our Las Vegas vacation, we wanted to sneak in a couple days of hiking and adventure. And while one of us is an experienced hiker and could easily plan a trip to Valley of Fire, our time was limited. So we decided to book a guide. After looking at a bunch of tours to Valley of Fire and various other places, we noticed something we didn't like in the descriptions and reviews. Almost all of them were short, group experiences, with almost no ability to customize your experience. That was until we found Adam and his Private Valley of Fire Hiking and Sightseeing Adventure. We got exactly what we were looking for in this adventure. We started at our hotel at just before 6am where Adam picked us up. He offered healthy snacks and drinks before we left, then we got on the road. Offered bathroom breaks along the 60ish minute drive to Valley of Fire, updates on our progress, and facts along our drive. He also asked if we had any phobias and what we wanted to see so he could customize our hike. Once we arrived at Valley of Fire, he told us to let him know if we wanted to stop anywhere for some quick photos. While we did decline, it was absolutely a beautiful sunrise. Once we got to the trail, he noticed another tour and changed our hike to avoid them. The eventual destination was a really cool heart shaped rock formation, but along the entire hike, Adam spoke about the area's history, the flora and fauna, and took some photos of us on the adventure. My partner is a photographer and he specifically wanted a private tour so he could stop and take photos along the way, and Adam was very accommodating. He also brought extra water with him on the hike just in case we ran out, and had refreshments when we returned, including cold towels to cool us down. He made it clear from the beginning that the time stated was just an estimate, and indeed we did spend more than 6 hours total on the overall experience including driving. On the hike, we saw a snake, lizards, fossils, tons of plants, various animal tracks (including a very illusive tortoise), tons of interesting rock formations, petroglyphs, and more. We even found a couple fossils ourselves. And for every new or interesting thing we saw, Adam had a fact or interesting detail or story about it. Despite the heat and long hike, we found it relaxing and enjoyable thanks to Adam's trail knowledge always keeping shade nearby. We felt cared for and looked after, but not babied. He told us of dangers and kept an eye out for them, but was only ever a guide and never interfered with the experience we wanted. He listened to what we wanted to get out of the experience and delivered exactly that. On top of all that, he offered great conversation both on the topics of the adventure, and otherwise. We literally cannot recommend this tour enough if you're looking for a private adventure into Valley of Fire. I can't imagine it gets much better than this and it's worth every penny and more.

The Ultimate Valley of Fire Hike!! - Our Valley of Fire hike with Adam was the highlight of our Vegas trip! We heard great things about the hike, but it exceeded our expectations. Adam made everything so easy from picking us up at the airport, to preparing backpacks with snacks, drinks, etc. Adam is so knowledgeable about the Valley of Fire region and Vegas in general. We learned all kinds of interesting facts along the way. Our group of friends had a range of different levels of hiking experience. Adam provided fit for purpose guidance along the way that made us all feel comfortable. I was pretty cautious at the start of the hike, but quickly began more ready to take on challenges throughout the hike because I trusted Adam to guide us in the best and safest manner. I can’t wait to book another hike with Adam!

Great tour in the valley of fire! - We did a half day hike with Adam in the Valley of Fire and it was awesome! We were not sure about the super early start but it was great watching the sunrise and beating the heat. Adam makes sure you are comfortable during the entire experience by tailoring things to your hiking experience and always checking in. Loads of info about the wildlife and the flora and a great attitude throughout. This was the highlight of our trip to Vegas and the only thing that we regret is that we didn’t book a full day tour. Would highly recommend this experience!

The perfect guide - I took a full-day private tour of the Valley of Fire along with my business trip. Adam was not only physically strong and great at conversation, but his knowledge of the geology and history of the Valley of Fire was exceptional. I highly recommend it.

Such a wonderful experience, cannot stop talking about it - My partner and I went on Adam's trip in March 2024. While we do hike occasionally, I wouldn't call us hikers and so we were looking for a fun thing to do while visiting Las Vegas (as I have been here quite a few times due to having family in the area). We had an absolutely wonderful time and can not stop raving about the Valley of Fire and Adam himself. Adam is very knowledgeable and charismatic and I am super happy to have chosen this tour. We got to see some great things and learned about the different animals and vegetation in the area. We also ended up doing some scrambling and while I was very nervous, Adam was very encouraging. In addition, he took amazing photos for us. It was great to be on a tour where we felt very comfortable and it was great to hear that Adam took into account our abilities and comfort levels with things. I highly recommend to anyone visiting the area and looking for something to do!

Moving Mountains - This is my second hike with Adam. This time I went with my closest friends. While the wake up for a sunrise hike was at first intimidating, it was 1000% worth it. I knew the hike would be amazing but I did not expect to feel such a soulful experience. Adam is an incredible guide dropping knowledge about all things on the hike from anthropology, geology, botany to history. It’s very clear that he loves what he does and the passion he feels about the Valley of Fire is contagious. For our group of professional women (who are also juggling motherhood), it was deeply satisfying (for me anyway) to enjoy the peace and calm. Adam built in time for mindfulness and encouraged us to sit and be still. Though our group has been friends since college, distance and life happened. This hike bonded is us closer together. He was very accommodating with each of us and our level of hiking experience/physical capabilities. Safety was kept a priority. Looking back through the MANY photos we took and he took, it’s was hard to chose which ones to post. I would highly recommend Adam’s tours to any group seeking a unique experience on “the other side of Vegas.”

Exceptional guide-- 5+ star experience - Adam is an exceptional guide who consistently prioritized safety, ensuring our party of 2 adults had an incredible experience in Valley of Fire over the course of 3 day hikes! His extensive knowledge of Valley of Fire afforded us many choices within our hikes to modify our routes and add extra challenges for one party member, while still maintaining a comfortable pace for the other. We gained a deeper appreciation of the anthropology and ecology of Valley of Fire thanks to Adam's clear and thorough insights. We saw so many intriguing petroglyphs! Additionally, Adam's car is meticulously clean and comfortable. He provided ample, quality snacks and hiking gear. We highly recommend booking with Adam!
