Great experience at Cajas national park! - Diego was an excellent guide. He had a lot of knowledge on the native plants and animals and he explained everything about the park. I totally recommend the half day tour, especially if you are in a rush and don’t have much time. Just in a few hours you can enjoy the beautiful park and learn a lot. As a bonus point, Diego also gave us recommendations for other things to do in Cuenca and around!

Great tour to match breathtaking scenery - We had a fantastic time on a half-day trip from Cuenca to Cajas National Park. Our guide Ed was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and immediately tuned into our special interest in birds. The scenery was like something from the Lord of the Rings. Highly recommend Polylepis tours.

Las Cajas tour - We did a tour in « las Cajas » with Edi! It was amazing, he picked us up at our hotel in Cuenca, was right on time. It was very interesting to walk through las Cajas with Edi because he knows a lot of things about the place and kindly shared his knowledge with us. He took us to a place for the lunch that was really good. It was an excellent tour and we thank him a lot for that.

Cajas a must see. - Cajas National Park’s ecosystem is a must see. Our guide Diego made our trip amazing. His knowledge of the flora was exceptional. His knowledge of the area and the people as well as his general knowledge of world history added to our thorough enjoyment as it all blended together to explain the current state of the park and its development. The tour included a walk around a small section of the park but it gave us a good insight to the amazing beauty and diversity of this ecosystem. Make sure to pack light rain gear and wear good walking shoes. The weather changes constantly and the path is a rough path but not difficult to traverse.

A beautiful walk in the living wilderness - We toured the Cajas National Park around its lagoons and through a polilepys forest. We were accompanied by Diego, an excellent guide, funny and generous with all the information about the endemic plants, geology and small details of the beautiful moor. Recommended if you don't have much time and want to admire incredible landscapes.

The magic of cafas in half a day - I took the half day tour with Wilson a great guide to the cafas national Park in Cuenca. We took some beautiful fotos from up high and then did a walk at the lake lower down. I say lower down but we are still at altitude. It was a challenging and enjoyable walk with Wilson making sure everyone was ok. The peace and quiet on the walk was beautiful and the chance to see the endemic species was fantastic along with Wilson's understanding of them all. A great trip, long enough for me with the altitude.
