A brilliant way to explore the whole lake, some great walks back from sunny bank! - Fabulous experience, we got dropped off at sunny bank and had a beautiful walk back. We then thought we’d make the most of the sunshine and have the 45 minute boat tour in the afternoon. Even though it was just us two for over half of it, Nat and Dave were really brilliant and took us for our own tour! A great thing to do and a must if you’re in Coniston!

It's a boat ride - It's a boat ride around the lake. If you're expecting a tour it is not that. They narrated very briefly at a couple of points around the lake but that was it. It's just a lap around the lake and a couple of stops at a museum and a pier. They did a nice job. We didn't sink and I stayed dry which is always appreciated when taking a boat ride. I'd recommend the tour if you just want to look at the scenery or need to stop at one of the piers on the wildcat route.

Brilliant! - Honestly, absolutely brilliant. Very organised, and efficient, but also very friendly. The boat is really sturdy and we really enjoyed the on board information and little anecdotes. We stayed on for the lake cruise but will definitely use again as ferry service to tie in with a walk. Thanks for such a great day.

A pleasant trip - I booked on line for the yellow route on Coniston Water. Very easy to use web site. Easy nearby parking but pricey, £5 for one hour. A very pleasant trip with commentary which calls in at various jetties for hop-on and hop-off. Helpful staff. Good value for money.

Disapointing boat Cygnet and the Yellow cruise - Disapointing. It wasn't the wooden boat from pictures were you sit in front. We got the CYgnet, where we sat in the back, like in the fishing boat, so didn't see the view in front and we were was restricted to look at the back. We were 7 min late to departure and got back 15 min early. So the Yellow cruise that's supposed to take 1 hour, barely took 45 min. The boat was terribly dirty. Our cruise was at 11am so one of the first ones of the day, and the boat was 100% not cleaned since last day or longer. lot's of dog hair and dust in every corner. couldn't put a bag on the floor how dirty it was. If i could i would get the money back. Try to avoid Cygnet when booking. Although they don't say which boat you're getting when booking. The other boat looked much better. And we couldn't hear anything outside, the speaker was only inside. Disapointing. Ruined an experience of the lake.
