Highlights
- Vinicunca - Our guide will pick you up at 4:00 am from your hotel or a designated meeting point. We will then travel for 2 hours to the Cusipata district, where we will have breakfast. At 7:00 am, after breakfast, we will continue in our van for 1 hour and 30 minutes to our base in the town of Kayrawiri. At 9:30 am, we will start with a brief practice session on driving ATVs, followed by a safety and risk briefing. After the briefing, we will embark on an exciting ATV trip, where we will see stunning colorful mountains and herds of alpacas and llamas in their natural habitat. We will drive for 25 minutes to the Rainbow Mountain, arriving before the crowds. This way, we avoid altitude sickness and there is no walking involved. We will find the Rainbow Mountain empty and stay for 1 hour to take beautiful photos and receive an explanation. At 1:00 pm, we will have lunch in Cusipata, and the tour will end at the main square at 4:00 pm.

Rainbow mountain ATV excursion - The views were great, the food was delicious, and our guide, Edgar, showd us all of the best photo spots. He made sure that the trip was a pleasant experience from start to finish. I would absolutely book with this guide again!

Amazing time with Edgar! - We loved our trip to Rainbow Mountain with our guide Edgar! They were very prompt with collecting us from the hotel and communicated well! He was also very well prepared in case any incidents should happen (which thankfully nothing did). Thanks so much!!

We enjoyed the ride and literally walked 5 mins to the top - Me and my partner took this tour and enjoyed every second of it! I was so worried about the altitude and that we have to walk, we literally walked for less than 5 mins and arrived at the top! Our tour guide Edgar, was amazing! Showed us the good spots for taking pictures and always stayed close and caring!
The whole experience of riding the road in Peruvian mountains on an ATV, seeing the sceneries, breathing in the air, passing the lamas and alpacas on the way, exceptional! Me and my partner love adventurous activities, riding ATVs wasn’t difficult at all and had a bit of adventure added, but also I 100% rather to ride on ATVs rather than a bus! We loved our experience and didn’t even feel the altitude!

Great ATV adventure - One of the best experiences I had when I arrived at the mountain of 7 colors in Cusco, it was unforgettable and even felt something magical, I brought out my adventurous side, I managed to see many animals and the landscapes were beautiful and the quality of the ATVs helped this experience.

Incredible Experience - Viajes Speedy provided a wonderful experience in Peru. Experiences at Rainbow Mountain, Machu Picchu, and Sacred Valley are truly unforgettable. Our tour guides, Mr. Regelio and Brito, at Rainbow Mountain are incredibly helpful and always have the answers to our questions. I appreciate all of your help, Viajes Speedy.

Communication could be better - The company does not communicate very well with the guides and we were picked up way earlier than when we were supposed to be at 4 AM. We also had to send the address we needed to be picked up at about 10 times to several different people in the company and they still went to the wrong place. After all the chaos, it was a great time and we all enjoyed Rainbow Mountain a lot! It was a quick ride up the mountain on the ATVS and there was breakfast and lunch provided as well.
