What a great way to spend and evening. - Our first evening in Cusco and what better way to spend it than making and eating chocolate. The workshop began with a brief but informative talk about chocolate before we all got stuck in with the hands-on session. Abelardo was our instructor and he helped to make it such a fun evening. He was very knowledgeable but what came through the most was his love of all things chocolate and his passion for the art of chocolate making. His instructions were clear and he gave the right level of support; he knew just when to step in to prevent any disaster! We were given lots of different ingredients so that we could experiment with different fillings for our chocolates and we were encouraged to be creative with our flavourings. By the end of the workshop we had a very full box of chocolates to take away all beautifully crafted by our very own hands. This chocolate-making workshop was educational and fun and was well worth attending.

Fun & Interactive Experience - The workshop was such a fun class to learn about this history of chocolate in the region and to get some hands-on experience making it. The venue was also amazing with a view of Cusco at sunset.

Fun and Delicious! - Went here on Friday after a snow storm derailed our plans to hike to Rainbow Mountain. The Cusco Chocolate Workshop was amazing and accommodated my family and I last minute. The class was fun, well taught and the hot chocolate and chocolates we made were delicious! I would highly recommend this class if you have a free night in Cusco.

Fun afternoon for chocolate lovers - This workshop was great fun! We made pralines and some chocolate medallions. The highlight for us was the hot chocolate, it was intense but so delicious! Luis was a great instructor, very friendly and knowledgeable. The view over San Blas was awesome too. We also appreciated the flexibility in being able to reschedule our workshop to another date due to illness. We would recommend this as a fun activity for all chocolate lovers!

Highly Recommended! - Firstly this activity is hosted at an amazing roof top bar/restaurant, with stunning city views. You can easily incorporate this activity with dinner and drinks at “Limbus Resto Bar”. They had a live DJ which added to the evening ambiance. Our workshop was hosted by Luis who was so enthusiastic about Peru, chocolate and it’s history. He shared lots of tidbits, for example when translated “Ganache” means “idiot” in french, because it was created accidentally. Luis was very patient and talked us through everything step by step. We made hot chocolate together at the end with left over ingredients which was to die for! This is a really fun and relaxed activity that started at 5pm and ended by 7pm (or 7.30pm, if the group is slightly larger). We left with loads of delicious chocolate at the end and knowing I made it just makes it that much sweeter. Overall really great value for money too.
