- Humantay Lake - Kick off your Humantay Lake Trek at 4:00 am, with our team picking you up from your Cusco hotel. We then embark on a 2-hour drive to the small town of Mollepata for a hearty breakfast. Post-breakfast, we proceed to Soraypampa, the starting point of our trek. Here, we gear up for a challenging but rewarding 1.5-hour uphill hike to the breathtaking Humantay Lake. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains, the dazzling turquoise waters of the lake provide a sight to behold. We spend time here, soaking in the view and engaging in a traditional Andean ceremony. Afterward, we descend back to Soraypampa, where a satisfying lunch awaits. Post-lunch, we drive back to Cusco, ending a memorable day in the heart of the Andes. We drop you at your hotel by 5:00 pm.

A perfect day trip - Higly recommend the day tour with Jose Luis. It was one of the best experiences we had in Peru. Although, the hike was somewhat tiring and ardous the views totally compensated for it. Jose Luis shared information like he was telling an interesting story. It was well worth our time and money.

Exquisite Adventure to Lake Humantay - Our tour to Laguna Humantay with Encuentros Peru Adventure was nothing short of spectacular. The hike was sternous but rewarding, unveiling breathtaking views of the turquoise lake and snowy peaks. Our guide was knowledgable, frienfly and genuinely cared for the group. Humantay is unmissable - Very impressive sigths combined with super long hike at high altitude. Jose Luis was a very nice guide and took frequent stop along with the group so everyone coped well and were not left behind. The tour included breakfast and lunch and both were very nice.
The tour company took extra measures to make sure everyone in the group felt safe. They had oxygen tank as we were at a pretty high altitude. No qualms at all.
The views from the top compensated well for the ardous hike.

Worth the climb! - It's a long drive but worth it! Our guide was great and kept good track of everyone and the coordinator was in touch beforehand on WhatsApp to make sure they had my correct pick up location and that I had my updated pick up time. The bus was comfortable and the guide made sure we had plenty of food and rest stops. The lagoon is really amazing, clearest water I've ever seen. It did get super cold though, so I recommend packing some light gloves if you have them! Also horses are available to rent for 80 soles if you don't have faith you can make the climb. But they only carry you up, so make sure you're prepared for the steep climb down if you have bad ankles or anything.

Just Wow! - The Andean highland lake was more stunning to see in real than in photos. The tour was very cost effective given the fact they included both lunch and breakfast. The trek was a bit tiresome but absolutely stunning. Well worth the full day tour from Cusco.

Paradise - Amazing won´t be the word to this paradiasic place. It was quite a hike though but worth every step. The place has a different vibe altogether. Luckily the day i went, it was not crowded and i had plenty of time to soak in the staggering views and immerse in the serenity. Jose Luis is a very nice guide, he never made us feel rushed.

Loved It - Did this full day Humantay trip from Cusco with Jose Luis. He gave us a very insightful trip, spoke about Andean traditions and explained about a process called Apacheta and also demonstrated it. Locals seek permission of nature entities by piling stones each on top of the other before they trek. The blue waters of lagoon are strikingly amazing. The tour included both lunch and breakfast which were nice.
