Amazing Experience - My son and I took on this crazy trek arriving less than 24 hours in Cusco without properly getting acclimated. The Guide texted us the night before the pick up and send us information what to bring as part of preparation. The guide and the driver picked us up 3AM in our hotel and along with other participants on their respective hotel. After driving 1.5 hours on a zig zag road, we had a breakfast at a small town. Then another hour of driving going to higher elevation , another zig zag road. We reached the mountain 6:30AM and tour guide gave us information to keep the group together and logistics wise. Our group were one of the few group arrived in the mountain therefore it wasn't crowded. Its about 3km hike, the last .75km is really steep but its more a staircase. We reached the peak and what a sight. My son and I had a great time despite of battling altitude sickness. Our guide, Andy Rodriguez , is the best. He make sure our group is always safe and look out for us. He carried oxygen tank and fist aid kit to aid hikers in our group who needed help. By 10AM the group decided to head back down. After driving an hour, we had a lunch at the same place. Then headed back down to Cusco. They drop us off at Plaza De Armas which is the town center. Overall, It was an amazing experience. I recommend Rainbow Mountain Travel, they are very professional, safety was never compromised and always keeping an eye on each participants. -Delos Angeles Family, San Jose, CA

Amazing trip! - The trip to Rainbow Mountain with this company was amazing! Really supportive guides (Thanks to Yaki and her colleague Roxana for providing everyone with agua florida and motivational words!). After acclimatizing in Cusco (10 days for us) and doing the Salkantay, the hike was relatively easy for us. Noone else from our group struggled too much either, and if otherwise the guides were there to support and there was also an option to rent a horse. Arriving at the site that early was the best part. Red Valley was amazing too. Also the food included was delicious. Very professional and highly recommended!

Early visit to Rainbow mountain and Red Valley makes the best of this tour - We had a fantastische trip with Andy as a guide to the Rainbow Mountain & the Red Valley. We left very early in order to avoid the crowd. We were the first on Rainbow Mountain and could take the best pictures. Also for the extra trip to Red Valley we were the only ones arriving there. Beautifull sight!! Highly recommended

Brilliant company - -Early pick up was definitely worth it to beat the crowds - Food provided was plentiful (easier if you aren’t picky or don’t have allergies like us) - Darwin our guide was informative and best of all allowed us all to go at our own pace. This group was all people wanting to hike rather than go by horse but I was glad I could go slower when I needed to - Well worth it for price *Remember it is freezing! Trekking poles aren’t necessary but warm layers are

Top - Getting up early is very worthwhile because you are up in front of the big crowd. I would also recommend everyone to take the Red Valley hike.

Excellent service! - Visiting the 7 Color Mountain with Rainbow Mountain Travelers was the best decision. Leaving Cusco early guaranteed us to be one of the first groups to arrive. So we avoid the crowd of people trying to take the iconic photos. Our Guide David made sure everyone was at ease and tried to motivate the stragglers to get there. The return to Cusco was about three in the afternoon so you can continue exploring the city. I recommend them to 💯

Colorful Mountain and Red Valley - Meeting the Colorful Mountain was an amazing experience. Our guide, Roxana, was wonderful. Super attentive to everyone. He explained everything about the Colorful Mountain and also indicated us to know the Red Valley, which was a separate show. Super recommend!!

Amazing tour of Rainbow Mountain! - Definitely recommend booking your Rainbow Mountain tour with Rainbow Mountain Travels. Our guide Darwin was excellent and the tour couldn’t have been better. We got there before the crowds which was amazing as it became extremely busy when the other tours arrived. 10/10 experience!

Rainbow Mountain + Red Valley - I really enjoyed my experience. We had a great guide, Angel. A nice guy, easy-going, friendly, and smiling. Angel, let us go at our own pace and let us enjoy the views, never stressed or rushed. Thanks, Angel.

Professionalism: Trust them. - It was an amazing experience! Unforgettable. Rainbow Mountain takes your breath away, and Red Valley seems unreal. The views are rewarding, but the route was difficult. The bus ride—about 3.5 hours—is very tiring on a dirt road. The organization of the office was exemplary. Departure times were punctual, the breakfast and lunch were good, and our guide, David, was friendly and helpful. The minibus was relatively comfortable, but the bus driver was a bit "abrupt." When we arrived at Rainbow Mountain, David arranged horses for us with the locals—which is a great idea if you want to save some energy for later—and was constantly careful not to leave anyone behind. He was well-equipped with oxygen and even something you inhaled through the nose to breathe better. Don't underestimate the altitude. It's hard to manage. As a person allergic to Diamox, I was concerned, but I had acclimatized for six days in Machu Picchu and Cusco. I chewed a lot of coca leaves, drank a lot of water, and went at my own pace. Don't easily trust your health elsewhere. Take good care of yourself. All in all, the office and David were excellent!!!
