Starting at 6:30 am, we’ll collect you from your hotel to start our journey to our first stop, ‘Chinchero’. Here, we’ll explore both the archaeological site and the colonial temple. Next, we’ll make our way to the ‘Moray’ agricultural laboratory to see the terraced farmlands, followed by a visit to the ‘Salineras’ salt mines, which have been in use since the Incan period. Moving on, we’ll travel to Urubamba, where you’ll have some leisure time to indulge in an Andean buffet lunch. Post lunch, our next destination is Ollantaytambo, rich in archaeological sites. It’s also the location of the train terminal for those heading towards Aguas Calientes. Lastly, we’ll visit the archaeological core of Pisac, which boasts numerous Andean terraces and the most preserved Andean cemetery, reflecting the region’s cultural history. Our adventure concludes with a return trip to Cusco.
