The Marble Mountains - Pickup from hotel in Hoi An or Da Nang, drive to Marble Mountain (in Da Nang), discover the stunning Âm Phủ cave inside Marble Mountain with your local guide to learn how Vietnamese soldiers used to hide and fight in the wars. The cave was also a secret hospital to save wounded soldiers.
Walk 150 steps or take the elevator to the peak of Marble Mountain. Knowledgeable guide will show you the best highlights so you don’t have to spend too much energy but still see the hidden beauty that most people miss. You will admire the rustic charms of historical pagodas, Buddhist statues and shrines, which are a few centuries old. Local believers and monks pray here often. You will lean interesting local beliefs and Buddhism. -
The Marble Mountains - Continue to explore Marble Mountain, enjoy the river views and ocean breeze at various points. Visit the huge Heaven Cave, you will take in the beauty of natural limestone formations. Take pictures with rustic statues of Lady Buddha, Happy Buddha…
Visit the 500-year-old Carving Village to see amazing marble scuptures make by local people at the foot of Marble Mountain. - Son Tra Peninsula - We then drive along Da Nang coast to MONKEY MONTAIN (Also known as Son Tra peninsula). You’ll take in amazing views of Da Nang city, Pacific ocean, Cham islands, endless beaches, hundreds of fishing boats… You’ll see common Macaque monkeys… IF LUCKY, you’ll see the rare & endangered colorful Langur monkeys.
- Lady Buddha - At half way of Monkey Mountain, we spend a short while to visit the giant Lady Buddha Statue, standing at 68 meters 233 feet tall. She smiles upon the fishing village and blesses local people while fishing in the deep sea. There are beautiful flower and bonsai gardens, and viewpoints to capture amazing snap-shots of Da Nang city and its beaches.

Marble and Monkey Mountain - We ordered a Jeep Tour to see the Marble Mountain and Monkey Mountain. First of all, our guide Lanh, was outstanding and very knowledgeable about everything we visited. Such a deep understanding of Vietnamese culture, history, tradition and religion. He also communicated well in English. During our travel we felt comfortable with AC, cold drinks, comfortable seating and friendly and experienced drivers.
Lahn also went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had a good time. Excellent guide and trip!

Excellent half day trip from Hoi An - This tour very much deserves 5 stars. The sights we saw were really worth seeing and the tour was well organised and very easy. Our guide Thành spoke English incredibly well and was full of information and chatty and friendly too. He went out his way to find monkeys and take good group pictures and send then to us. The lunch option was at a farm and used their own produce - delicious to end the trip before returned the our hotel.

Great tour, highly recommend - We had a great tour of Marble Mountain and Monkey Mountain! Our guide Thanh was super knowledgeable, happy to answer all our questions and also friendly towards the kids, making it a fun and interesting time for all. We booked a private car with lunch - we all loved the food (ages 7- adult). Would highly recommend this tour - was great to go with a guide who was fluent in English who was patient in spending the time explaining many things. We needed coffee in the morning so we made an additional stop at a coffee shop also.

Perfect tour - Amazing experience! We went to Marble Mountain, Lady Buddha and Monkey Mountain with a private tour lead by Thanh. He was the best! We learned a lot about the history, the culture, and religion. He also customized it well for my 87 year old father who could only do some of the steps. Thanh had a way of making the trip seamless. He’s full of knowledge and a great conversationalist. The driver and Thanh patiently helped us see a red-shanked douc. They were a great team! I would highly recommend this 4.5 hour tour.

Special morning - Fantastic trip thanks to our guide really helpful with my sore knee going up and down steps and great to seethe monkeys highlight of the tour . Every bit explained plenty of water as well well worth the cost for private tour

Great Tour Guide - Fantastic private tour with our guide John. He was incredibly warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. Highly recommend a private tour - it's more efficient and the guide can pace the tour according to the guests. John's English was excellent and he was the best guide that we have had on all of our tours in Vietnam. The only challenge we had was the heat!

A great day and well worth it - Our guide Carol was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the different areas within the whole complex. The place itself was amazing. Having a private car made things a whole lot more enjoyable.
