dhanang and hoi an - a spectacular day - We had the best time. Our guide was enthusiastic and knowledgable. The driver picked us up so we felt like movie stars all day! Excellent service.

Great day in Da Nang and Hoi An - Su picked us up at the port in Da Nang and we explored Da Nang and Hoi An extensively. We visited the Lady Buddha, Han market, Marble Mountains, and all of the sites in Hoi An. Had a wonderful baguette sandwich for lunch and a beer along the river in Hoi An at the end of the day. Could not have been any more fun. We felt like we got a real flavor for Da Nang. Su's English was EXCELLENT. He was engaging and insightful and provided wonderful background on the sites we were visiting. Highly recommend this tour!

A very good experience - Dad is a great guide. You can tell that he likes what he does and helps you with everything. He is always attentive to the client's needs and adapts to your preferences on the tour. For us it deserves the highest score.

Best tour of beautiful Hoi An! - Our family of 7 from the U.S. LOVED our half-day tour of Hoi An with Eric! He was so responsive, getting back to us in a matter of hours (even in the days after his new baby was born!). His prices were also very competitive. He picked our group up in an air-conditioned, clean van. We saw ancient town, did the fun coconut boat tour and a lantern boat tour of the river, and wandered the lantern-lit streets of Hoi An. He was very flexible, adding a visit to the tailor and to a banh mi cafe once we mentioned that we were interested. Eric's English was impeccable, his knowledge of Vietnam history was deep, and his warmth, care, and enthusiasm made him a hit with everyone from our 3 young kids to my 70-year-old mom. We could not have had as smooth, organized, or knowledgeable a trip without him. We could not recommend him more!

Hoi An and Da Nang - Hoi A was our favorite and highlight. Having a small group is the only way to go. Our tour guide was excellent. We highly recommend this tour.

Fabulous Hoi An, Marble Mountain and Da Nang with Nhi! - We met Nhi at the port shuttle drop off in DaNang and drove along Son Tra(China Beach) to Linh Ung Pagoda. The Pagoda, the Temple grounds with marble carvings and bonsai trees and Lady Buddha were amazing. Unfortunately the weather was not cooperating and our umbrellas and rain jackets were not sufficient! On to Marble Mountain. First we visited a Traditional Marble Handicraft carving shop at marble village to experience the skillful local marble carvers. The marble sculptures were abundant and masterful. Then at the base of the mountain we purchased full length rain ponchos! Then proceeded to climb 128 marble steps to the fascinating caves with temples, pagodas and Buddhas. We loved it all. By the time we arrived at Hoi An, we were ready for lunch. Nhi recommended the Hoi A delicacies, white rose sticky rice dumpling and fried wonton, at the White Rose Cafe. Both were delicious and we ordered more! Then onto Old Town, where we visited a 10th generation Chinese home and folklore museum, with an interesting gift shop, where we purchased many beautiful gifts and treasures. We walked down the busy streets lined with shops and cafes, to the waterfront, filled with boats with lanterns ready to take tourists for a river ride. Instead we went to the Art Performance House and enjoyed Vietnamese folklore music and dance. Onto the outdoor market, purchasing more gifts! Nhi pointed out the healthy fruits, vegetables, and herbs in the market. She bought us a delicious dessert of beans that we would never have thought to try! And later she bought us coconut water with coconut slices and dried turmeric and ginger , for nursing my scratchy throat. As we wondered into the night market we stopped at a beautiful Chinese temple, as it was closing. The colorful lanterns light the way back to the car for the drive to Da Nang shuttle bus. Nhi was so delightful, caring, knowledgeable, friendly…simply the best tour guide! She made this very rainy day exceptional!

A wonderful experience for the highlights of Da Nang / Hanoi! - We loved our tour with Eric around Da Nang / Hoi An! Leading up to the tour, Eric was extremely responsive, flexible, and helped us build the perfect itinerary to suit our interests. It was so special being able to tour Eric’s hometown with him- his passion and character shines through as he not only shared interesting facts about each attraction, but also wove in his own personal experiences and memories. He took us to some local spots we wouldn’t have known about otherwise and this tour certainly helped to enrich our understanding and appreciation of both cities. We had such a fantastic day- highly highly recommend!!

Fabulous Trip w/ an Excellent Tour Guide - Our tours of Hoi An and Da Nang stretched over two days. Eric was a fabulous guide who compiled a comprehensive itinerary to ensure we got as much out of our visits as possible. However, he was also flexible in allowing us opportunities to do spur-of-the-moment things that caught our interest during the tours. Eric was very personable and engaging. His knowledge of the cities’ history is impressive. If you’re visiting Hoi An or Da Dang, I’d highly recommend Eric as your tour guide.
