Exploring a city by bike is an excellent way to get acquainted with it. Our guided tour covers the renowned Old Town and other fascinating areas of Heidelberg. The leisurely pace ensures participants are immersed in the experience, while still covering a wide range, including the lesser-known parts of Heidelberg.

Highlights

Weststadt - The return journey takes us through the Wilhelminian-style western town, where Christmas trees can be seen through the windows of illuminated living rooms as we pass by.
Bismarckplatz Park - Here, the first of many Christmas markets awaits. Situated right at the entrance to the old town, it brings a festive atmosphere to the bustling Bismarckplatz.
Old Bridge (Karl Theodor Bridge) - After a brief stop at the riverbank further upstream, we cross over to the Old Town via the Old Bridge.
Kornmarkt - A charming Christmas market with a direct view of the castle.
New University (Neue Universität) - At Universitätsplatz, there is the largest selection of culinary delights and regional handicrafts.
Carl’s Square (Karlsplatz) - The second market on the tour is located in the heart of the old town. This is where the popular ice rink is set up every year.

Only suitable for people who are able to ride a bicycle.
This tour focuses on the visual experience and atmosphere of Heidelberg in the evening and the Christmas market and therefore includes fewer stops than the “Discover Heidelberg” tour. The trip is just as much a part of the experience as the visit to the Christmas market itself, for which time is planned.
The respective times at the individual locations are to be understood as a guide and are adjusted individually according to interest. If, for example, a Christmas market is perceived as more attractive and more time is required there, the time spent there will be extended accordingly after consultation and shortened elsewhere.
