Interesting and enjoyable experience, accompanied by a remarkable guide. - Excellent Trip. Driver extremely friendly and patient - even though we changed our pickup location at the last minute, he came over to pick us up without any complaints. Guide also had a wealth of knowledge under his belt, telling us about mangroves, the Thai diaspora and talking about anything under the weather. After the trip was over, he cut up fruits and was extremely accommodating to the customers. Would definitely reccomend this to other keen travellers that are curious to learn more.

A good paddle through a stunning setting.. - The paddle was enjoyable, through a stunning setting, and just the right length, balancing challenge and comfort for those not used to this sport. There was a nice mix of seeing a small secluded beach, a peaceful lagoon, and an interesting time through the mangrove as our guide explained interesting facts about the flora and fauna of this habitat. We were delighted to see several creatures, including a family of monkeys in the trees.

Insanely beautiful canoe trip - This tour is highly recommended. Insanely beautiful trip by canoe through the mangroves and the lime mountains. The mangrove is completely silent, with only animal noise in the background. The 2 hour trip is fine for untrained people. The Guide was extremely enthusiastic and told a lot about the mangroves. However, he has little patience with novice canoeists. At the end of the trip you cross the estuary, and that is actually open sea. Doable, though.

Incredible, highly recommend - Incredible experience, highly recommend this tour! Our guide was knowledgeable of mangroves and animals that resides within, continuing providing us with fascinating history of the area whilst pointing out animals (mud skippers, monkeys, water monitors, shrimp). He was funny and very friendly, making sure to help new kayakers with their form. Our group was small (6 people). The kayaking was relatively easy, apart from a 200m section where the strong current make it a little challenging (we had a 9 year old on the tour who managed this section fine). We had a quick break on a small hidden beach right after this section where we could swim in the sea. Overall it was a great day out.

Serene, beautiful and monkeys galore!! - We've been in Ao Nang for 6 days now and this has been the highlight of our trip. We saw two families of monkeys -- both long tail macaus. The second family had a big male monkey and six wives with lots of baby monkeys. As we kayaked below them, I saw a mother clutch her baby. It was so beautiful! I saw one monkey eating a mangrove seed. So cute! We did not see gibbons but I hear they do inhabit the mangroves. There was just six of us and the tour guide and it felt like we had the entire region to ourselves for much of the trip. You get really close not only to the mangroves but the gorgeous limestone cliffs and caves. For some reason, the weather was much cooler than in Ao Nang -- maybe the extensive shading from the trees? We basically did a loop through the mangroves, first going downstream (which was easy) and then next having to kayak against the currents, which was challenging but doable for folks who are reasonably coordinated. If you're not coordinated, might want to look @ a couple of YouTube videos to get the logic of paddling. Wear beach shoes b/c otherwise you will have to go barefoot. The tour guide supplies water, coffee before the trip, watermelon and sesame ball doughnuts on the way to the kayaking pier. Super-nice tour guide!! Be sure to tip. The Thais live modestly and it surely helps!

Great experience - Brilliant experience with AK learned so much and gave such an insight into the mangroves of Krabi and their importance to the ecosystem. We also got to see a family of long tailed macaques which was cool! It’s probably been the highlight of our month trip to Thailand so definitely try it.

Great Guide - Lucky enough to be in a small group of 4, the guide provided loads of interesting information. Doesn’t require any kayaking experience beforehand
