Har ki Dunn - Trek was good and awesome. Everyone had enjoyed. The main thing was about route and it's exercise we had. Base tent location was outstanding. Our trek guide SONU SIR was too good and understanding. Food was tasty and new. Our another trek guide TRIPANA SIR was also awesome. Our whole routine was fun and we enjoy a lot

Amazing experience ❤️❤️❤️❤️ - We had a great experience with Himalaya Shelter. We had 3 days to do 4 days trek and they arranged for us Prashanth was our guide and it was amazing! He speaks perfect English, very friendly and enthusiastic and he personalised the trek to our taste, stopping on an amazing temple, 2 waterfalls and viewpoints, always keeping track of the distant and timing to have enough time to enjoy Har Ki Doon! We felt that we shared together way more time that we did. This tour really lifted our hearts, boosted our soul and fill our bellies! (I still cannot believe that you have open buffet breakfast, lunch, snack 1, snack 2 and dinner in the middle on the himalayas :P)

Himalayan Shelter team rocks👌👌 - If we could give it 10 out of 5 stars we would. Because the Himalayan Shelter experience was not just good, it was otherworldly. When you know you are in the safe hands of professionals up in the mountains you leave all worries behind and focus on trekking and admiring nature's beauty. The trek, ours being Har Ki Dun, became a treat for the senses and the soul. And to make things even better, the main guide leading us was no less than a mountain hero. Saurabh Kashyap, along with his dedicated team, has done a fab job. More than a guide, he became our friend, guide and philosopher. Always staying calm and sorting things in a jiffy, even if it meant running across a mountain to fetch your baggage. And of course, the food made by his team was pure love. You made us feel taken care of, and protected. You motivated us to not give up. Salute to each and every one of you. May you keep the spirit up and scale new heights, literally.

Memorable Trek to Har-ki-Dun with Team Himalaya Shelter - Our family of 4 did a customized trek to Har-ki-dun with Himalaya Shelter in the first week of May. We had an excellent trek and wonderful time thanks to the superb organization by Team Himalaya Shelter. Right from the simple and no-fuss booking process over calls/Whatsapp to the whole execution of the trek was very satisfactory. We had to start the trek a day later than planned due to unforseen circumstances, but the team took care of it seamlessly without any complaints. Our short stay at their guesthouse before and after the trek was comfortable. The camping sites were beautiful, the tents, sleeping bags and other equipment were all satisfactory. Food variety and quality and quantity were just superb and on-time every time with many local dishes. We specially enjoyed the hot phulkas and baigan ka bharta with the team in the kitchen on the last day. Our daughters enjoyed all the food and desserts. Thanks to all the kitchen staff on all our camping sites. Enjoyed the company of our guide Nitin-ji and the many stories he told us during and after each day's walk. He took good care of us through-out. We would definitely like to trek with him again. Thank you from all of us. The whole team was approachable, humble and helpful. In short we had a memorable time and will like to trek with Team Himalaya Shelter again in future.

A great experience - Himalayas were calling us since long and this May 2024 we decided to take the plunge with a group of close friends.Himalayan shelters made our Har Ki Dun trip quite memorable with their great services and assistance. Right from the pickup at Dehradun airport till the drop back on 8th day,it was a lovely experience with their team. Our leads Bachan Rana and Rocky Rana were always around to help and answer whatever queries we had. Few highlights of the trip were, 1.The healthy and homely meals they prepared for us every day. 2.Hot steamy and aromatic black tea prepared and served after every meal , special mention to the tea served at Har ki Dun valley.it was heavenly to sip the tea watching it snowing at the valley. 3.The magnanimity of lending a hand to carry our backpacks and giving us a break.Rocky Rana ,the man with the bright smile.. 4.Patiently walking and waiting behind the last member of the team without pushing them to walk,if asked the reply would be..."Koi na,aap apne time leke chalo". 5.Interesting and small bit of info shared about the life on the hills, leaving us wondering about the kind of life we are living back here in the cities. Apart from all this,During the trip I had a twisted ankle and was injured. The team immediately sprung up to action and helped me with treating the injury and to safely reach the camp.Next day I was provided a mule for travelling.Mr Bachan Rana and Rocky ,either one of them were with me throughout the last two days on the Trek ,helping me to climb on and off the mule.I also got a chance to watch how they mingle with the natives, assess the change in climate, the kind of love and respect they give and take and even their love towards their home and environment. Big shout out to Bachan Bhai,Rocky Bhai and Dani ,the adventurous and strong mule who carried me all the way back to safety. Kudos to the entire team...still missing you all and hope to catch up with you all soon.till then all the best wishes.. I strongly recommend Himalayan Shelter for your next Himalayan exploration.

Unforgettable experience in the heart of the Himalayas - We spent an amazing week on the Har Ki Dun trek. The trek itself is not too difficult but the views on the valleys and snow topped mountains are incredible. It was also a great occasion to get to know the small villages and locals on the way everyone being very welcoming. Our guide Mukesh was very helpful and always there to give us more information about India and the mountains which made us enjoy the trek even more. The daily food was various and really tasty so we will certainly miss it. Last but not least we enjoyed sleeping in the tents along the way, the calm of the nature and the stargazing at night will stay in good memory. All together we highly recommend Himalayan Shelter and would book a trek with them again without hesitation.

Har Ki Dun Trek - I participated in the Har Ki Dun trek organized by Himalaya Shelters, led by Mukesh and his team. The experience was truly remarkable, exceeding my expectations. The stunning beauty of the mountains, waterfalls, and the genuine simplicity of the local people left a lasting impression on me. The trek was meticulously organized, with thorough planning evident in every aspect. Mukesh and his team were not only friendly but also ensured that no one was left behind. The food provided was of high quality, including dishes like chhole puri, gulab jamun, bread pakodas, sandwiches, and more, served fresh and hot during the trek. The tents were clean, and the sleeping bags provided were comfortable. Mukesh proved to be an exceptional trek leader, offering unwavering support and guidance throughout the journey. I am truly grateful for the overwhelming experience, all credit to Himalaya Shelters. I eagerly look forward to embarking on another trek with them in the future. Thank you for the unforgettable trip. - Sonam Rajput
