Enjoy enroute to Lansdowne - The last leg of the 40 Km journey of 250 km from New Delhi to Lansdowne is most enjoyable. The road, though small and with too many curves, is well covered with long Pine trees. Starting from Kotdwar before the high-rise mountains one can enjoy the small stream flowing nearby. One is tempted to take a dip in the crystal clear water. 17 Km from Kotdwar, after Fathepur, is a small Musafir Cafe on the road itself. Its decor and ambiance were impressive. The owner prepared the ordered items fresh. In the meantime, one can go down the stream behind to enjoy the scenery and quiet flow of crystal clear water

2 days Lansdowne itinerary - Lansdowne is well connected by rail and roads. You can reach kotdwar by kotdwar express or siddhabali express. From kotdwar you can either reach by sharing taxis, bus or personal taxi cost you approx. 1000 rs. Well Lansdowne is much hype place by social media channels. Only limited sight seeing places like tip in top, garhwal museum. Churches, bhula lake (almost dried with no boating) and kaleshwar mandir. This place is only 1 day visit and you can go to tarkeshwar mandir by personal taxi for 2000 rs ( to & return journey). Not much fooding options are there and for vegetarian only mayur restaurant is a hope.
