Additional Information

We kick off our journey at one of Christianity’s most revered churches, the Church of Santa Claus. Post that, we leave our tourists some leisure time to shop in the local icon store, post which we proceed towards the ancient city of Myra. Following this, we make our way to our boat stationed at Ayaz Port. A brief trip later, we halt for our first dip in Gökkaya Bay, following which we consume our pre-packed meals. Post luncheon, we pause at Aquarium Bay for a swim and then we pay a visit to Tersane Bay, a historic bay on Kekova Island. We anchor our boat at Simena Castle (Kale Köy), see the sunken city and allot an hour of free time for our tourists here. You can wander to the sarcophagus (rock) tombs by land or water, explore the settlement, and see the ancient Simena Castle during your free time. Don’t forget to taste the world-renowned homemade ice cream made by the locals. After our stopover at Simena Castle, we have our concluding swim of 30 minutes in the Üçaz Straits before concluding our tour.

Good guide, bad transport - The guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and the boat trip and visit to Myra was exceptional. However the itinerary mentioned here does not match my experience, there was no visit to Simena Castle and only one swim stop not two as described above. My tour date was also cancelled and rebooked for the following day at the last minute due to ‘weather’, however when I did the tour the following day I was informed by our guide and also the boat crew that they indeed went ahead the previous day, and the weather was not bad (rained for a total of 5min in the late afternoon). I asked the your operator regarding this discrepancy but did not receive a good response. The pick up/drop off process via all hotels also took over 2 hours each way (4hrs + travel time to and from the start of the tour) therefore making this an extremely long day in a mini bus.

St nicholas - Trip interesting would have been better if we hadn’t been the only English couple out of the twelve only Russia spoken. The guide did her best to explain to us in English after each place which did help and full marks to her for that. It’s no fun not understanding what’s going on when those that do have no sense of compassion or manners when it comes to breakfast or lunch no concept of queues
