The village is home to numerous batik showrooms where you can find authentic and high-quality batik cloth known as Ikat Weaving. ‘Ikat,’ meaning to tie or bind, refers to intricately patterned cloth, an ancient art form from Indonesian tribes with strong ethnic significance.

- Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary - This nature reserve and temple complex in Ubud houses approximately 340 long-tailed macaques. The forest is divided into four territories, each occupied by different groups of monkeys. Visitors can walk around and enjoy the serene atmosphere. The forest covers about a tenth of a square kilometer and contains at least 115 different species of trees. It also includes the Pura Dalem Agung Padangtegal Temple, a holy spring bathing temple, and another temple used for cremation ceremonies.
