  • Tohpati Village - Tohpati Village is where you can observe the entire Batik-making process, from the initial waxing and coloring to the drying of the material. Watching the intricate painting on cloth is truly fascinating. The village is home to numerous batik showrooms where you can find authentic and high-quality batik cloth known as Ikat Weaving. ‘Ikat,’ meaning to tie or bind, refers to intricately patterned cloth, an ancient art form from Indonesian tribes with strong ethnic significance.
  • Celuk Village - Celuk Village is a renowned traditional village in Bali, famous for its exquisite gold and silver smith handicrafts. The craftsmen of Celuk are celebrated for their artistic skills in creating intricate designs and patterns. The village is lined with galleries and workshops showcasing their finest works, mostly jewelry such as necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and brooches. Visitors can also witness the production processes.
  • Puseh Batuan Temple - This Hindu temple, located in Batuan Village, is beautifully designed with Balinese ornaments, and its roof is made from the fiber of the chromatic black palm tree. Some ornaments reflect the Ramayana Epic story, and each holy building has a different philosophical function. Batuan Village is also home to many traditional painting artists, with numerous art galleries along the road to the temple selling various kinds of paintings, from traditional to modern and abstract. Visitors can also see the process of creating these famous paintings.

  • Lumbung Sari Agroo - This coffee plantation offers an exciting experience to taste local coffee, tea, chocolate, and Luwak Coffee. Visitors can also see how Balinese coffee is made traditionally. Luwak Coffee, also known as Civet Coffee, is famous in Bali and is made from coffee beans that have been eaten and defecated by the Asian Palm Civet.
  • Tegalalang Rice Terrace - Located in a valley, Tegalalang Rice Terraces offer extraordinarily scenic views of the terraces and surrounding green landscape. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, this place has gained popularity among international travelers. It remains a great place to relax and unwind, offering a quiet and serene atmosphere. Visitors can also enjoy a swing with a rice terrace background or have lunch at a local restaurant.
  • Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary - This nature reserve and temple complex in Ubud houses approximately 340 long-tailed macaques. The forest is divided into four territories, each occupied by different groups of monkeys. Visitors can walk around and enjoy the serene atmosphere. The forest covers about a tenth of a square kilometer and contains at least 115 different species of trees. It also includes the Pura Dalem Agung Padangtegal Temple, a holy spring bathing temple, and another temple used for cremation ceremonies.
  • Ubud Traditional Art Market - Located in the center of Ubud, this world-famous art market offers clothes, souvenirs, and other Balinese handicrafts. Bargaining with sellers to get the best deal is part of the fun of visiting the Ubud Traditional Art Market.
  • Puri Saren Palace - Also known as the Ubud Royal Palace, Puri Saren Agung is an old building complex in Bali featuring fantastic carvings and courtyards. Visitors can wander around, explore the buildings and items, and appreciate the details of Balinese culture. It’s also a great spot for Instagram photos.

We pick you up at 08:30 from your hotel or villa to explore Ubud for a day. You’ll be accompanied by a knowledgeable English-speaking driver who also serves as your tour guide. Travel in a brand-new private vehicle for a more comfortable trip, with all admissions included, as well as drop-off and pick-up services.

The first stop is to visit some art villages, where you can choose from batik hand weaving, gold and silversmithing, wood carving, and painting, depending on your interests. Next, visit the beautifully designed Batuan Temple, adorned with intricate Balinese ornaments. Then, admire the foaming water and lush green surroundings of Tegenungan Waterfall.

Tegalalang offers extraordinarily scenic lookouts over the terraces and surrounding green landscape. The Sacred Ubud Monkey Forest Sanctuary is a nature reserve and temple complex that shelters hundreds of long-tailed Balinese monkeys. Spend another hour in the center of Ubud to visit Ubud Palace and the market before heading back to your hotel. We will return around 18:00.
