During the class we’ll take you to learn the highlight of Tempeh making process. Tempeh or Tempe is a Super Food, an Indonesia original from Java Island. Known since 1600 century, Tempe is food for everyone, rich of protein and many nutrients.
After having good knowledge about Tempe, we’ll be ready to cook our tasteful Lunch at our open air kitchen studio.
We’ll make some dishes from Tempe, refreshing Sayur Urab a vegetable dish made of some greens and beans mixed with grilled coconut grated, as well as some local recipes you can to easily make at home. You can join us to cook or just watch and take note.
Finally we will enjoy our creation by sharing six dishes of tasty Balinese Indonesian Lunch in the garden with family atmosphere of our cozy house.
Water and light snack provided during the class, and Local tea and coffee are served during Lunch.

- Tempe and Tofu Curry - This curry is seasoned Balinese base genep, special paste that originally from Bali.
- Tum (Tofu or Chicken) - Steamed Tofu or Chicken seasoned with Base genep wrapped with Banana Leaf
- Tempe Manis - Crisp sweet and sour Tempe
- Sayur Urab - Mix of vegetables with coconut grated seasoning
- Balinese Spiced Chicken Curry (or Tofu Tempe if you’re vegan) - Curry that prepared with Bumbu Bali and fresh coconut milk, if you’re vegan we’ll make tofu / tempeh curry
- Tempe Mendoan - Deep fried crisp tempe, coated with rice flour and vegetable
- Steamed Rice - All the dishes we cook will be served with steamed rice
- Eggplant Sambal - The most favoured Indonesia spicy condiment.
- Sambal Matah - Raw Sambal - Fisherman recipes from Bali; sambal matah or raw sambal
