Highlights
  • Colorado State Capitol - Our tour begins at the Colorado State Capitol, a beautifully historic building constructed in the late 19th century. Here, you’ll meet your guide and hear the beginnings of Denver’s rich history.
  • LoDo - Lower Downtown (known as LoDo to locals) showcases the more modern side of Denver. You’ll walk along the 16th Street Mall, home to many sources of entertainment from restaurants to local music. It’s the heart of modern Denver!
  • The Brown Palace Hotel and Spa, Autograph Collection - Your guide will lead you into this wonderfully picturesque, late 19th century hotel where you’ll be able to marvel at the one-of-a-kind architecture.
  • Larimer Square - This bustling area of LoDo is one of locals’ favorite spots for shopping, dining, and entertainment. We’ll likely walk down this tree-lined street along the tour.
  • Denver Union Station - Refinished and refurbished to its former glory, Union Station continues to operate as Denver’s main train station - a far cry from it’s early days bringing settlers to the West. Today, Union Station boasts restaurants, shopping, and lots of people-watching. When your tour ends, you’ll be in the perfect, central spot to continue exploring downtown Denver!

Excellent tour - Excellent presentation of Denver’s and Colorado’s history. Dwayne is courteous and allowed plenty of time for pictures and questions. If I had more time in Denver, I would definitely book other tours by WeVenture.

Fun and informative tour - Bruce was friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. He made sure the pace was just right for us 5 tourists. It was starting to get really cold and he made sure we had a few stops indoors to warm up. Very caring and attentive tour guide.

An impressed local recommends this tour! - I'm a Colorado native and wasn't really sure what to expect from a tour of my own backyard. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I learned from our tour. Bruce, our tour guide, was knowledgable and kept a great pace. I especially enjoyed how he took us into the Brown Palace. His depth of knowlede and friendly personality made the tour super enjoyable.
