Highlights
- Crab Island - Our Coast Guard licensed captains will take you out to Crab Island from the Destin Harbor. They will drop anchor at the epicenter of all the fun and stay with you the entire time, giving you full access to a restroom, shade, your cooler and our crew. We’ll drop the ladder so you can easily jump into the waist-deep waters. SunVenture has floats available for guests as well as paddleboards that guests can rent on a first come first serve basis. You’ll find a little bit of everything at Crab Island from floating bars and restaurants to people kayaking, snorkeling, paddleboarding or just relaxing on a float.
Additional Information
- All guests must check in 45 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
- Personal, small coolers and bags are allowed but must be stored under your seat. Alcohol may be brought onboard, but no glass please!
- Non-alcoholic drinks and snacks are available for purchase onboard. Cash only.
- Floats must be deflated when brought onboard.
- Smoking is not allowed onboard.

After arriving at 314 Harbor Blvd., make your way down the Heron Harbor boardwalk and locate the SunVenture Cruises kiosk. A crew member will be there to check you in for your excursion and direct you to your boat.

Crab island trip - Awesome trip and crew! Captain Morgan and his deckhand Andy were great. Water was very pretty and we saw lots of animals (redfish, other small fish, blue paw crabs, hermit crabs, dolphins). Crew was very helpful with getting us drinks and food, and taking pics of us so we did not have to get out of the water. All around great experience.

42 of us had the best time at Crab Island! Captain Morgan and Andy were the best! - This excursion to Crab Island was seriously the best! Captain Morgan and Andy made our experience one we won’t forget! We had a large group of a baseball team and families, and all 42 of us were able to get spots on one catamaran together. They literally did all of the work for us. They got us drinks out of our coolers, called vendors over for us to purchase food items, and made it where we never had to leave the water once we got in. The big floating lily pad was a hit, as well as several floaties they had for us to use. They played a great selection of music for us the whole time as well! We were fortunate to go out at high tide, and the water was beautiful! I have already told another baseball team about our experience and they are booking with them next week! I will definitely recommend them to anyone I know coming to Destin that is looking to go to Crab Island. Captain Morgan and Andy definitely “hit it out of the ballpark!”

Great day on Crab Island. - Our time out was great. Justin and Gianni (sorry if spelling is wrong) are so informative. Justin found some shells for the kids. Gianni accommodated everyone on board. The time out flew by. They both made it a very enjoyable day. Will do again in the future.

Not bad of an experience - Our captain and his partner were very friendly and helpful throughout our time in the water. Be prepared to have money on hand or bring your own food if you get hungry, there will be mini boats floating around selling food. Overall, it was a relaxing and decent time.
