Highly recommend! - I can't speak highly enough of this tour. Bappi communicated via WhatsApp in advance, picked me up at my hotel and led me all around Old Dhaka! Right away he figured out the types of things I was interested in seeing and adapted the tour as we went. I like old buildings and he took me into a few places that I'm guessing are well off the tourist path and were fantastic. We also hit the highlights and he was incredibly knowledgeable about everywhere we visited, as well as happy to answer all of my questions about Bangladesh more generally (which were many). He also took me for sweets (amazing), biryani and fruit snacks as we went. I didn't go hungry! He was friendly and upbeat, and the tour went on for about seven hours, at which point I said I was ready to go back to the hotel. Overall, I highly recommend this tour and will definitely take another of the tours he offers next time I'm in Bangladesh.

Perfect! - Bappi, I can't thank you enough for this tour!!!! I really wanted to explore Dhaka and I had only one day, this tour was the safest and most efficient way to do it, since the guide is a local and did everything for me, negotiated the tuktuks, talked to the sellers, got us a boat... My job was just to enjoy the day! Everything I saw in this tour will be forever in my mind, what an experience! I could never have done it without Bappi's help! If you are in Dhaka, don't miss it!

Stress free and friendly. - I’m not the most confident traveller, but Bappi was so welcoming. He made me feel safe throughout the day and was really mindful of the requirements I had whilst still taking us to the top locations and sharing his passions of animals and nature. He took all of the stress out of the day and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

The Highlight of our time in Dhaka! - I have lived in Bangladesh before, but wanted to show the city to my husband, who was visiting Bangladesh for the first time. We had an amazing day touring around Old Dhaka with Baapi! He is very knowledgable and experienced, we thoroughly enjoyed our day with him. Through this tour you will get a glimpse into the local way of life and you’ll get to experience the vibrant and colourful culture along with delicious tastes and beautiful sights! It is a day to remember and definitely one of the highlights of our trip! I’d also recommend this tour to expats living in the city; Baapi will show you hidden gems (like a teahouse in a 300 year old building) you won’t find by just visiting Old Dhaka yourself.

Fascinating, Authentic & Unique - If you want to visit Dhaka you have to book this tour! Bappi is a fabulous guide with a deep knowledge of Dhaka’s history. I thoroughly enjoyed visiting all the mosques, palaces and forts but most of all enjoyed exploring Old Dhaka by foot. This is the only way to experience Dhaka authentically. The best part of this tour is that Bappi is super flexible - if there is a market or festival in town he can weave it into the day. We got to visit a local sweets festival which was a wholesome and delicious way to end the day. Thank you Bappi!!!

An incredible experience! - What a day - we had the most fantastic experience. Bappi was a fabulous guide - so knowledgeable and funny! Saw some amazing sights and got off the main tourist path to explore the local back streets of Old Dhaka. Rickshaw, tuk tuk and a boat trip, delicious sweets at a local festival, bustling, colourful markets and some stunning old architecture. An absolute feast for the senses. Would highly recommend!
