Great tour for first time visitors - We took off from Dijon in a minivan. On the road to Beaune we drive through the wine district and a few of the small villages along the way (as well as Beaune itself), with our guide giving us information about the area. The first stop was a wine tasting with an introduction to the wines of the region, followed by a fine lunch there. After lunch we drove on to the next location for the second tasting, with a cellar tour included. I'm really happy I took this trip.

Learned so much about Burgundy wines - Our guide, Matt, was amazing - so informative and connected with boutique wineries. We sampled 12 different wines at three smaller wineries where we received personal attention. Matt organized a fabulous luncheon on the sunny, warm terrace of one of the wineries - chicken pot pies, ham terrine, fresh baguette, three cheeses, three local mustards, gougeres, local gingerbread - plus wine! Matt explained the appellation rules of Burgundy and made our understanding and enjoyment of wine lists so much better in the days that followed on our trip in France. Also took us through the Hospice de Beaune and Edward Fallot mustard factory. Highly recommend this tour!

A Wonderful Day of Exploring Burgundy - Can't say enough about how much we appreciated Matthias knowledge and expertise as we toured the Burgundy region. From the history of the area to his appreciable knowledge of winemaking and the subtle difference of the terriore that make this region so unique. Delicious meal and delightful diversions and surprises along the way. The whole experience made for a perfect day. Highly recommend. Thank you Matthias for making this such a memorable experience for us!

Burgundy tasting with small group - Trip includes 2 tasting - one with tasting and then lunch and the other we get to go to visit the Grand Cru vineyard. The first tasting was good and the second tasting was not great the wines we tasted are lower end with the different is we get to taste a bubble outside of champagne which is quite good. The takeaway from this trip is the lesson about different categories of wine.

Nice wine tasting tour in Burgundy - Our guide Maria was very pleasant and enthusiastic. She introduced many facts and information about the origin, types and tastes of various wines in Burgundy. The van was also comfortable. The two wineries we visited were very well arranged. Lunch was provided with sumptuous cured meat and cheeses. They were delicious and complemented the wines. Should there be more choices of food such as a hot dish and dessert, it would be a bonus.

Wine tasting in Burgundy - Good trip. Lots of fun. Greet guide! Did not see and learn as much as we hoped for the price. Quite a bit of down time. Lunch was good at a lovely winery. Excellent tour with cellars from the French Revolution! Would love a tour where they compared one years vintage with the successor year to really learn about the differences. Wonderful presentation at biodynamic winery that used French oak and newer techniques of concret barrels. Family owned winery and you could taste the passion and work in those bottles.

Rooms for improvement - Underwhelming winery tour. No stops all the way to the winery. We requested a brief stop for toilet nevertheless when guide was picking up another person in a different location. Only 4 wines each winery (total 2 wineries). It would be so much better if we get to take a few brief stops in the beautiful villages and to see the vineyard too, for a more complete experience and photo taking opportunities. Our guide is passionate and knowledgeable about wines. Lunch served was charcuterie & cheese board with a glass of wine. Water & coffee & desserts were not included. Only 2 stops at 2 wineries. All indoors except lunch was outdoor. For the price, it’s really below our expectations.
