Amazing experience - This was one of the best excursions we could have done. Our driver Notis brought us to the typical sites that we and most others wanted to see which was great. But then gave us a more local experience by bringing us to a neighborhood cafe for traditional coffee and pastries and a great restaurant near mt Olympus for amazing food and service. Worth every penny!

Great tour to Dion and Mount Olympus - George was a marvelous guide! The trip was fantastic. Mount Olympus is to be experienced. The waterfalls, hermit churches, scenery, gorges, wildlife is wonderful. The ruins of the city of Dion at the bottom of the mountain are also exceptional. The condition is good and it is a vast city. There is much to see in the ruins. A great day tour.

Mighty Olympus - Our Dion trip was cancelled because the site was closed due to Easter Holiday weekend. However, we enjoyed hiking up to the Mount Olympus and saw several waterfalls. The view was great.

Great Value and Experience - We thought this tour was a great value for the cost. We opted to pay extra for the licensed guide, definitely a good addition, especially for the archeological site at Dion. It was a great way to spend the day outside Thessaloniki. Our driver brought Spanakopita that his mother had made. A really sweet thing to do and it was delicious. The Sprinter van was spacious and comfortable and the guide and driver met us in the cruise port beside the cruise tour buses, so easy to find and get to. We were glad we visited Dion before going to Ephesus a day later. The ruins in the archeological site are no where near as well preserved, so having the licensed guide really helped to understand the history and context of the ruins. There is really not that much to see compared with comparable archeological sites. For us, the highlight of the day was the hike to the Baths of Zeus (though due to global warming there is not much water left anymore). The scenery is stunning and one can certainly imagine Zeus there! I would recommend the experience, especially compared with what the cruise excursions offered. For the six in our group, we saw a lot more privately and it cost us less than the per person price of one of the ship excursions which did not cover as much to see. The tour operator was quick to respond to questions.
