Day 01: Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnels
Cu Chi Tunnels - Embark on a journey from Ho Chi Minh City (Sà i Gòn) to the Cu Chi Tunnels. Between 7:30 and 8:00 am, we set off towards the tunnels. During the drive, you’ll receive a comprehensive briefing about the Cu Chi Tunnels.
Upon arriving at Cu Chi after an hour’s drive, you’ll delve into the history of how the Viet Cong constructed the tunnels, the resourcefulness of the Vietnamese in overcoming scarcity of food and medicine, and the pivotal events that occurred in this region during the war.
The Cu Chi Tunnels served as a sanctuary for soldiers and numerous Vietnamese throughout the Vietnam War.
Following a two-hour exploration of this historical and battlefield site, we’ll return to the vehicle and stop for lunch on the way back to Ho Chi Minh City. The tour concludes around 2:00 pm at your hotel.
