Highlights
  • The Venerable Thich Quang Duc Monument - The Thich Quang Duc Monument is a unique destination to explore the intriguing story of Thich Quang Duc, who self-immolated in 1963 to protest the South Vietnamese government’s persecution of Buddhists.
  • Ho Thi Ky Flower Market - Ho Thi Ky is the largest flower market in Saigon. Nestled in a bustling residential area on Le Hong Phong Street, it blends seamlessly with the local rhythm of life, creating a distinctive charm unique to this market. The market boasts hundreds of flower varieties, showcasing a wide range of colors, styles, and origins. It operates around the clock, from dawn to midnight.
  • Ba Thien Hau Temple - Note that for night tours, this stop will be replaced as the temple closes at 5:00 PM.

Thien Hau Temple - The oldest Chinese temple in HCMC, where you can hear the story of the “Boat People.”

Ba Thien Hau Temple in Saigon is a Buddhist temple dedicated to Mazu, the Chinese sea goddess. Mazu is believed to protect and rescue ships and people at sea by flying around on a mat or cloud. Mazuism combines elements of Taoism and Buddhism, merging various traditions into a unique belief system. The temple is located in ‘Cholon’ (Chinatown) in District 5, about a twenty-minute drive from the city center.

  • Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral - The Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon (Vietnamese: Vương cung thánh đường Chính tòa Đức Bà Sài Gòn or Nhà thờ Đức Bà Sài Gòn; French: Basilique-Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Saigon), officially known as the Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of The Immaculate Conception (Vietnamese: Vương cung thánh đường Chính tòa Đức Mẹ Vô nhiễm Nguyên tội; French: Basilique-Cathédrale Notre-Dame de l’Immaculée Conception), is situated in downtown Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Built by French colonists and originally named Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Saïgon, the cathedral was constructed between 1863 and 1880. It features two bell towers, each standing 58 meters (190 feet) tall.
  • Central Post Office - The Ho Chi Minh City Post Office, also known as the Saigon Central Post Office (Vietnamese: Bưu điện Trung tâm Sài Gòn, French: Poste centrale de Saïgon), is located in downtown Ho Chi Minh City, near the Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica. Constructed in the late 19th century during the period of French Indochina, the building showcases Gothic, Renaissance, and French architectural influences. Built between 1886 and 1891, it is now a popular tourist attraction.
  • Saigon Opera House (Ho Chi Minh Municipal Theater) - The Municipal Theatre of Ho Chi Minh City, also known as the Saigon Municipal Opera House (Vietnamese: Nhà hát Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh; French: Opéra Municipal de Saigon), is an opera house in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. It exemplifies French Colonial architecture in Vietnam.

Constructed in 1897 by French architect Eugène Ferret as the Opéra de Saigon, the 500-seat building served as the home of the Lower House assembly of South Vietnam after 1956. It was not used as a theatre again until 1975 and was restored in 1995.

  • People’s Committee Building - Ho Chi Minh City Hall, also known as Saigon City Hall or Hôtel de Ville de Saïgon (Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Head Office - Trụ sở Ủy ban Nhân dân Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh), was built between 1902 and 1908 in a French colonial style for the then city of Saigon. It was renamed after 1975 as the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee.

Although this elegant colonial building is not open to the public, it is a popular spot for photography. Many tourists take photos outside, especially at night when the building and its grounds are illuminated.

  • Nguyen Hue Street - Nguyen Hue Street is a wide pedestrian promenade in the heart of District 1. This walking area is lined with beautiful French colonial architectural landmarks such as the People’s Committee, the Rex Hotel, and a luxury shopping mall. In front of the People’s Committee, there is a statue of Uncle Ho Chi Minh and a nighttime fountain show.

Thrilling experience on the back of a scooter - Our guides were both students and their English was very good. One of the guides was called Wade and unfortunately i can't remember the name of the lady, who was lovely. We both felt safe and loved whizzing around the back streets! The tour was a mixture of the well known attractions such as the post office and we were also taken to a temple and where the locals live which was incredibly interesting. The tour included a drink which was very welcome as it was a very warm day!

Good experience - We had such a great time with David and co. Really got a feel of HCMC from a local point of view, enjoyed some snacks, and felt very safe on the bikes despite the madness!

Motor bike food tour by night - Best few hours going around on a bike trying delicious vietmaneese foods The flower street was delightful & the aroma from the street was beautiful. Take tip money for your driver as students only get paid in petrol for their time. Enjoy

What a great tour! A must while in Saigon! - This tour is fantastic. Me and my wife were picked up from our hotel at the time that was confirmed with me the night before. Our guides were Helen, David and Ken. There was one more guide but sorry I can't remember their name! They were all fantastic. The experience on the back of the scooters is something else. Riding as a passenger through the heart of the city is such a great experience that is a must while in Saigon. We stopped at the Post Office, Notre Damn Cathedral, a Temple, Flower Market, a residential complex with shops which was away from tourists which was very interesting. There were many other stops and passing by locations which were all great and very interesting. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone while in Ho Chi Minh city.

Great way to see HCMC! - Awesome tour! My guide Dang picked me up at my hotel on his motorbike, then we met with the rest of the group at our first stop. We went to all the main attractions in HCMC, and stopped for a bit to have some local sugarcane juice. Dang was a really awesome tour guide and very friendly. The other driver was nice but he didn’t give the tour. Would definitely recommend as motorbike is a great way to see the city

Know the city with local guide - Highly recommend. My local guide Tony is very knowledgeable and well-read in history. I had the chance to have an intellectual and candid discussion on history, war, and current affairs. Definitely recommend for tourists who are looking more than usual sightseeing but also to have more in-depth discussions on history and current affairs with locals.

Awesome tour ! - We did the motorbike tour with Helen and Kim and had the best time. Being a local, Helen knows a great deal about HMC and was more than willing to provide an insight into the city and Vietnam. Our guides were also super friendly and just lovely people, enriching our experience whilst travelling around Vietnam.
