- Ho Chi Minh City - 7:30 am: Our tour guide will greet you at our SST Travel office at 57 Le Thi Hong Gam, District 1, or at your hotel in District 1 before we head to My Tho city by bus. Enjoy the view of green rice fields on the way to the picturesque rural My Tho, the heart of the Mekong Delta region.
- Vinh Trang Temple - Our first stop is Vinh Trang Pagoda. Discover and appreciate the unique architecture of this historic site, which showcases a blend of Vietnamese, Khmer, and Chinese influences.
- My Tho - Continue to My Tho, where we will take a boat trip along the Mekong River, allowing you to see fish cages and floating houses on the river.
- Ben Tre - The boat will take us to a small canal, away from the town’s hustle and bustle. We will disembark at a coconut island in Ben Tre and enjoy a walk around the village. Visit a local family home to savor tropical fruit, taste honey tea and honey wine, and listen to traditional Vietnamese music performed by the villagers. Check out the coconut candy shop to learn how to make candy and see handicrafts made from coconuts.
Lunch will feature special Vietnamese dishes. Enjoy your meal outside under the shade of the trees. After lunch, take some time to relax, walk around the village, or perhaps go for a short bike ride.
- Ho Chi Minh City - Return to Saigon, arriving around 4:30 - 5:00 pm to conclude the tour.

Hassle-free last minute tour plans - Had a great time during the tour! We booked last minute and still able to experience a hassle-free accommodation, thanks to our great tour guide, terry and his team / agency behind the tour! Mekong Delta River Day Tour: A tour definitely worth the experience - The Mekong delta river that spans southern Vietnam and it's neighboring countries has a large historical significance and it is certainly worth exploring. The tour starts with the bus fetching us at our hotel. Be sure that you are booked within District 1 Ben Thanh to avail of this feature.
Just a friendly reminder when getting on the boat to Ky Ly island, be sure to step firmly and find your balance or you might just fall. During the boat ride you can appreciate the scenic river reflecting yellow to slightly tangy color along with the beautiful landscape. Our tour guide named Khoi explained that the river is clean and fresh and it's color is due to alluvium which is a component of the soil found in the Mekong delta. When we arrived, we were welcomed with honey tea, and also serenaded by traditional Vietnam musicians. After that, we rode the famous rowboat that traverses a small river canal where a natural foliage roof was made by huge plants from each side of the riverbanks. The experience felt like an asian movie scene, be sure to wear the traditional Vietnam hat which will be provided by the boatman and voila! take your stunning picture. Lunch was superb and satisfying. The last stop was a peaceful walk in the pagoda where the different statues Buddhas are located.
A take home advise from the Buddhist philosophy shared by our witty tour guide, is to enjoy the present as we may never know what will happen tomorrow. Truly this tour was enjoyable and memorable. Highly recommended!

Great tour for photos and cultural experience! - The tour definitely gave us a cultural experience and plenty of amazing pictures for our holiday. It was well organised with good communication with Ms Dolphin and great scheduling with a couple of activities and also rest/exploring time.

Mekong delta tour - I went on the Mekong delta tour with SSTAR TRAVEL agency booked through Klook and my guide was Khun, he was just amazing. He explained us each and every spot very nicely. He was funny and very smart . Love my time with him. He dropped us at the Ben thanh market when we requested. Highly recommend this tour

So Much better - Very good value, the driver is Smooth and easy throughout the traffic, Sunni is a bubble of fun, and knows how to keep the crowd moving and happy. It all has excellent pace, a bunch of great stops and a long and enjoyable lunch. We recommend it, cheap n cheerful😊.

Unicorn island, dragon island & a walk on where Cambodia used to be? ✨ - Was surprised the amount of activities and treats packed after lunch. Regardless the rain, all transporting (bus, boat, motor vehicle) were all smooth. The bus was well equipped (USB port, aircon) along with free wipe and water! Our tour was amazingly funny and energetic regardless he’s level of English. He made sure to remind us to follow him and find him. We felt safe and enjoyed all the way.
The small boat ride before the motor boat ride felt a little unnecessary along with visiting every island trying to sell us something. A mention of 26 pax was turned into 26 + 3 babies and felt very uncomfortable sometimes. Regardless I had a very good time and learnt a lot.
