Highlights
  • District 1 - 1. I will meet at the meeting point, Ben Thanh Market and we will walk to the first location, WAR REMNANTS MUSEUM. “The House for Displaying War Crimes of American Imperialism and the Puppet Government.” We will visit here for 60 minutes.
  • District 1 - 2. Walking along the vast park, having a short break at a local drinking store to enjoy Lemon Juice or Ice Tea. Subsequently, we will encounter a symbol site of Saigon’s fall called the REUNIFICATION PALACE. We just stand outside to see and listen to what I will tell you about this historical building through the book. We are not going inside.
  • District 1 - 3. Continuing walking through the park, we will be struck by the senses of many French colonial heritages, such as NOTRE DAME CATHEDRAL and CENTRAL POST OFFICE—two of the most beautiful buildings in Vietnam.
  • Ho Chi Minh City’s Book Street - Exploring a beautiful book street.
  • Ho Chi Minh Squares - 4. Visiting an old coffee shop and trying one of the unique coffee types is VIETNAMESE FILTER COFFEE. And then, discover the city more through CITY HALL, OPERA HOUSE, and A WALKING STREET linked to Saigon River to see the beautiful sunset from there.
  1. We will say goodbye on the walking street and enjoy the rest of your day.

Fun way to see the City - Thought provoking tour of the War museum where Yang (our guide) left us to absorb the atrocities of the Vietnam war. We both found this part of the tour quite upsetting. Next we went to the Independence Palace where Yang told us about the history of building and explained things as we explored the building. Yang was good fun and showed us Book Street, Walking Street, the Post Office and the Opera House. This tour was great as it took in all the essential sites while walking around the city. Ensure you have plenty of water though as it was very hot but Yang took us for a coffee part way through and even recommended an authentic place to eat in the evening for us! A great way to see the City, would definitely recommend

DO THIS TOUR!! - Minh and L Xu were phenomenal guides! This was the perfect way for my husband and I to become acclimated to Ho Chi Minh City. The 4 hr tour gave us a wonderful overview of the different districts of the city. It was beautiful, fun, educational and delicious. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting HCMC for the first time. And honestly, the scooter rides alone were worth the cost of the tour! 5 Stars!!

Thank you Peter! - Peter is an extremely friendly and eager tour guide. We definitely felt his hospitality and his very great effort in making us feel extremely comfortable. My dad and I had to cute short the tour because he was suffering from a back issue. But Peter was extremely understanding, accommodating and adjusted the tour to our needs. Great job, Peter. Thank you for your guide!
