This vendor, located on a small street corner, has been serving a Vietnamese-Cambodian dish called “Chuoi Nep Nuong” or “Banana Grilled with Sticky Rice” for over forty years. Next, we’ll venture into the heart of District 3 to explore the Nguyen Thien Thuat Apartment Buildings Area, home to numerous famous Vietnamese street foods that will tantalize your taste buds. Here, you’ll find the original Bun Bo Hue, a unique recipe that takes 8-10 hours to create a rich broth with beef slices, pork sausage, vibrant onion, and spicy coriander. This food stop is run by a local with over 25 years of experience from Hue (central Vietnam). Then, stroll along a street known for its barbecue seafood vendors and head to a local favorite restaurant to taste the best “Bò Lá Lốt” (Beef in Wild Betel Leaves).

Originating from the Mekong Delta in western Vietnam, “Banh Xeo” gets its name from the sizzling sound it makes when cooked on a hot pan. Then, take a stroll and try Bo Nuong Sa– BBQ grilled pork wrapped in lemongrass. Next, savor a traditional Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwich from a local vendor before enjoying a refreshing sugar cane drink.
