Cu Chi Tunnels - In the afternoon, tourists had lunch and spent over an hour traveling to the Cu Chi Tunnel. Highlights at the Cu Chi Tunnel include:
Taking photos of helicopter and tank models
Watching a short documentary video
Crawling underground through the well-known tunnel that attracts thousands of visitors daily and exploring fighting bunkers, meeting bunkers, water wells, the Hoang Cam kitchen, and more
Challenging yourself to find the secret entrance wooden door and traps
Tasting a special dessert (Tapioca) with salted sesame and sugar and sipping hot pandan leaf tea water
Visiting the shooting range at your own expense if you want some ‘shooting time’ (bullets cost excluded)
The tour ends at your hotel.

Chu Chi tunnels is a must do! - Went to the Chu Chi tunnels. Our tour guide, Tri, was amazing. Patient and knowledgeable. There were 3 tunnels, gradually getting harder and harder. I did the first one and chose not to do the next two as I am a bit claustrophobic. You have to crawl through some parts and it gets harder to breathe. You are only in the tunnels for a few minutes though. It was amazing to see how you get into the tunnel through such a small hole. Tri also showed us the traps and how they worked. Loved the tour! This is a must do! Bonus- I paid extra to and shoot an AK47 and machine gun. A unique experience I will probably never do again.
