Subsequently, we will make way towards southern Qatar, formatting a halt at a camel camp, where you can either venture a brief camel ride or indulge in a cup of tea. Twenty minutes away from the inland sea, our desert driver will steer you across the dunes for an adventurous experience, or if you prefer, ask for a regular driver to relish the calming desert sightlines along the smoother roads leading to the inland sea. The inland sea demarcates the Qatari mainland from the Saudi mainland.

• Souq waqif local market: Most shops operate from 10:00 am. to noon. Re-open at 4 p.m. till 10 p.m. Frifdays only afternoon.
