Highlights
  • Doha - Stop for pickup of your specified location, hotel or from airport.
  • Al Khor - A visit to Al Khor, located at 50 kilometers north of the capital, Doha. Considered one of Qatar’s largest cities.
Al Khor is home to many employees of the oil industry due to its proximity to Qatar’s northern oil and natural gas fields and to Ras Laffan Industrial City.
  • Purple Island - Al Khor Island - Stop at the Purple Island, also known as Jazirat bin Ghanim, about an hour’s drive from Doha. It is a small island, connected to the mainland by a narrow path that is broken at different points to allow water to flow towards the mangrove forest.
  • Al Thakhira Beach - Located about 35-40 km from Doha, the Al Thakira beach makes an ideal location for swimming, sunbathing or spending a laid-back day at the beach. The beach offers serene views of Qatar’s largest and oldest dense mangroves reserves.
  • Al Zubara Fort - Al Zubarah is Qatar’s largest archaeological heritage site. It was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2013 and is the best-preserved example of an eighteenth – nineteenth century trading and pearl fishing town in the Gulf region. Unlike its contemporaries, it is largely intact and has not been lost beneath the region’s vast modern cities.
The site, located approximately 100 km northwest of Doha, stretches 2.5 km from the Al Zubarah Fort to the coast. Founded in the mid-eighteenth century, the town developed into the country’s largest and most important settlement. Its success attracted the attention of other Gulf powers, and after several attacks the town was burned to the ground in 1811. By the first decades of the 20th century, it was abandoned. Today, the site covers an area of 60 hectares with remains of houses, Masajid (mosques), Madhabis (date presses), large, fortified buildings, and a market.
  • Doha - Stop for drop off to the hotel, specified location or at airport.

Tour of North Qatar - The North Qatar 🇶🇦 tour should be included in everyone else’s bucket list! It’s absolutely amazing. You can learn so much about the history of Qatar, how and when it all begin! My Private tour was absolutely incredible. I have been picked up and dropped off via beautiful 4X4 car. My tour guide Ali was very knowledgeable, patient, encouraging , helpful and with a good sense of humour. He walk with me together with each stop that we made, took a lot of beautiful photos and even when I wanted to take an extra time to explore Al Zubair, he never ever rushed me. This is absolutely a MUST Do tour! Thank you Ali 🙏

Qatar surprised us positively! - This tour is a perfect way to see the country’s important cultural sites and do it comfortably! Our tour guide (driver) Irfan was very easy to talk to, rearranged the tour plan so we could make best use of our limited time to see (before closing) the fort and ancient site of Al Zubarah and come in time for sunset at Mangroves and Purple Island!

Tour of the North - I had a really good time on this tour. It was the second one I booked with this company for my trip, the first tour was so good I set up this trip for the next day without any issue. Irfan was my guide, he is very knowledgeable about the history of Qatar and gave good insight to the sights we saw. He is also a very nice person in general! Would definitely rec. this company for any tour!

Best experience - Having spent so many hours in transit in Hammad International Airport over the years, it was time to explore some of Qatar, and this tour did not disappoint. My guide, Ibtesam was wonderful and we spent several hours talking about Qatar and the Qatari people. I learned so much about this special place and the treasures it has on offer. If you have a decent amount of transit time I highly recommend this tour to get a taste a flavour of life outside of Doha - we covered a lot of ground. Thank you, Ibtesam and Alannabi tourism for this special experience.

Excellent Qatar North tour operator - We had a private Qatar North tour organized and conducted by Al Annabi Tourism recently. We had a wonderful experience covering all the main attractions in the region: Al Khor and Purple islands, Al Zubara, etc. My special thanks to Mr. Ibtisam who understood our requirements and proposed a very good itinerary as well as to our excellent driver and guide Mr. Ibtihaj whose competence and love for Qatar made the tour a success. I strongly recommend Al Annabi Tourism and specifically Mr. Ibtisam and Mr. Ibtihaj for tours in Qatar.

Desert experience out of Doha - An excellent way to see more of Qatar beyond Doha; the fishing harbour and north make an interesting excursion. Walk along the picturesque boardwalk through the mangroves on Purple Island, the excavated UNESCO Zubail village and it's pearling history are fascinating, Zubara Fort too. We ended our 4-hour tour as the sun set. Anwar was my excellent interesting and easygoing guide today and made it a very comfortable ride on uncrowded roads. I can recommend this tour, I looked at at least five different companies all offering a similar tour and found this one was among the best value. Try it!

Great guide to northern Qatar - We loved our tour to the north/north west of Qatar with Muhammad, to see the Al Zabarah Fort, the Al Jumail fishing village and the mangroves. We recommend this tour to learn a bit about the history of Qatar and see something different to the city. We also loved the red tea! Ann C

Northern Qatar tour - Muhammad was knowledgeable and very accommodating to whatever we wanted to see. The fort, fisherman’s village, and purple island were all very interesting. We had a wonderful time learning about the history of Qatar as well as the culture throughout our tour. I highly recommend this tour. He also gave us extra information and a quick city tour of Doha.

The wort tour in Qatar - It was a very bad experience. First of all. The Purple Island isn't as it's seems in the photos. It doesn't have any water. Then because a reason that I didn't know, we arrive one hour late to the Fort, so we can't get into the facilities as the tour arrive one hour late. More than a tour this is a scam. I need the tour give me back my money. I don't pay just to go around the dessert.
