Highlights
  • MIA Park - This place is a real oasis in the middle of the desert that has been created by human hands.
  • Museum of Islamic Art - Here starts Route 1:
It is one of the largest museums in Qatar and contains the history of several Arab states. To take a photo in such a place is to immortalize the centuries-old history of Arab civilization. In addition, the museum has a library with no less than 21,000 books.
  • Corniche Walk Way Park - After a stroll along the man-made promenade, it’s great to hide in the shade of the trees on the beach. This place is one of the international top 10 most beautiful places to photograph in Qatar, and with a professional personal photographer you’ll get incomparable photos.
  • The Pearl Monument - The shell-shaped monument is becoming a real gem of a Doha landmark. The place is rich in history, as a monument to human freedom was demolished in 2011 in the square where the monument is located.
  • Doha Skyline Viewpoint - There is no better place in all of Qatar to get a glimpse of the city of Doha and take photos of the houses, buildings and landmarks. It’s also a great place to see the coast and the sea. Even though the temperature here is quite high (reaching 50 degrees Celsius), there is enough shade to escape the scorching heat.
  • Al Corniche Harbour (Bandar) - The area is more than 100 meters long and visitors to the site have the unique opportunity to take a photo-op on the shores of the Persian Gulf.
  • Doha Skyline Viewpoint - Here starts Route 2:
Bandar View has the most beautiful panoramic view of Doha Bay and the surrounding area and offers beautiful views of the golden sunset as well as surfers and jet skis. It’s impossible to overstate the beauty of photographs with this backdrop.
  • Salata Park - The park covers a huge area of 7,313 square metres. This park is a combination of urban buildings and an artificially created natural area. The pictures here are particularly interesting.
  • National Museum of Qatar - The museum was opened in the second half of the 20th century and houses a huge number of exhibits. The pictures in the architecture of this museum represent a true concentration of Arab culture.
  • Alfa Fountains by Jean-Michel Othoniel - This fountain consists of 114 sculptures and its architect is the Frenchman Jean-Michel Ottoniel. This fountain reflects the scale of a personality in world history, and the photos next to it will help you become part of that history.
  • Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani Museum - The old Amiri Palace was the senior residence of Sheikh Abdullah bin Qasim Al Thani, Sheikh of Qatar (1880-1957). The design of the palace did not follow a single overarching plan, but was supplemented over time. The photos next to this palace cannot be confused with anything else.
