It is one of the proposed venues for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

Excellent tour - Adil picked us up from the Sheraton after txting to advise he was on his way. We enjoyed the 4 hour tour with Adil providing commentary on any interesting sites along the way. Most interesting was the old Fort with information panels. It is a UNESCO world heritage site so important to see and understand the lives of people before us.

Visit to north Qatar with usman - Usman is a wonderful guide. He’s so funny attentive and reliable and seems to love his job as a guide wanting us to hold great memories of qatar. In 4 hours we got to see some city highlights desert coast ancient forts and a couple of camels and crabs in the bargain. This is well worth the trip for a short layover in Doha.

A very special experience! - Amazing! What an unbelievable day! Adil arrived at my hotel in the morning and we enjoyed several great hours together! We started at the mangroves/Purple Island (gorgeous), then went to Al Jumail village, Shadows Traveling (art sculpture in the middle of the desert), and Al Zubarah archaeological site. That would have the perfect tour, but there's more! I mentioned to Adil that I was thinking of seeing Katara vilage, the grand mosque, and Pearl Island - so, instead of having to Uber to each location Adil suggested he take me to the BEST photos spots of each place. And that's what we did! We hopped on a golf cart and saw all of Katara village, we saw two mosques, and I saw more of Pearl Island than I ever would have if Adil weren't there. Adil also takes great pictures (his were way better than mine)! Granted, my tour had some add-ons, but I highly recommend the North Qatar tour. Adil also does city tours of all types, so you can always do what I did and customize your day. I can't speak highly enough of Adil and Golden Adventures - I'm so glad I found them!

See the North - I read reviews that this tour had nothing to offer but I’m so glad I booked it because we got to see the historical side of Qatar. We were picked up promptly by our personable and knowledgeable guide, Adil. He gave an interesting and well-rounded background of the historical stops we visited, capped by the UNESCO heritage site of Al Zubara. This tour completed our Qatar visit!

Great half day trip to the North of Qatar - Excellent excursion to the North of Qatar with Asim, friendly and very helpful, full of knowledge about his country, explaining in details what you'll encounter. Qatar definitely deserves a visit with his UNESCO World Heritage sites, museums, vibrant modern city with traditions, amazing places like the mangroves at purple island, 7000 years historical sites (Al Zubara) at the time of the pearl divers industry and commercial exchanges. I highly recommend this trip with "Golden Adventure Qatar" company !
