Best way to start your stay in Beijing - I highly recommend Beijing sidecar tour on your first day visiting Beijing. John was waiting for us at it hotel and we had a fantastic 2 hours with him exploring the city. This is a great way to get your bearings straight and to understand the city layout. It gave us an appreciation on how big Beijing actually is. You can tailor the tour to the sites you would like to see. We told John to take us wherever he would like. John started by taking us through the financial district, see all the new buildings and of course the CCTV headquarters building. It was neat to see "new Beijing" then we made our way to the ancient city. Driving through the Hutongs was a lot of fun! We spend time at the Bell and Drum towers, which was amazing to see. John then took us to a beautiful park and lake where we had drinks and a Beijing treat! We ended our tour going to the old city wall. John was a safe driver and the ride was comfortable. It was the best time and I highly recommend the tour!! I hope to be back!

Definitely the best thing I did in Beijing! - Exploring the historical city of Beijing in a sidecar? YES YES YES YES! And it becomes a MUST when the driver / tour guide is John! It was a fun and unique experience of going around the city in a sidecar (honestly i didn’t know sidecars still existed). It almost feels like you’re sitting in a full immersive movie theatre and all the hutongs and the walls and the 5000 years of Chinese history unfolds in front of your eyes! I said “almost” because the wind in your face keeps reminding you that this is real! But of course, the best part of the experience is the tour guide John. Being a beijing man, he knows everything about Beijing and had so much to tell me! I wish I had more time and did 4 hour version. If you are looking for a truly unique activity to do around Beijing, this is a MUST! I am planning to do a 4 hour version next time. Oh did I mention John is super friendly?

Sidecar Shenanigans in Beijing with John Zhang! - Came to my favorite city in China for a brief meeting. What to do when you've half a day to burn? Booked a quick tour and hopped on a sidecar! What an absolute blast! From the moment we revved off, I knew I was in for a unique adventure. Zipping through the city's bustling CBD, offering breathtaking views of towering skyscrapers. But the real magic happened when we delved into Beijing's rich history. With John's expert guidance, we explored old hutongs and iconic landmarks, and my favorite was the ancient Ming Dynasty city wall. John's insights and anecdotes added an extra layer of depth to the experience, making it truly unforgettable. We had a pit stop at Lian Coffee & T on top of the wall, sipping on Dirty Coffee and listening to John's life stories was the perfect way to end the day. If you're looking for a unique and bespoke tour to explore Beijing, look no further. Highly recommended!

How to spend an amazing time in Beijing - Thanks for such an amazing trip! John is very punctual and polite person. He’s also a safe driver and great tour guide. Everything was very well prepared : scarf for the ride, helmets with Bluetooth for the audio tour and communication, water, local sweets with tea/coffee for the picnic. Ural is in a very good condition, looks like its brand new! Weather in Beijing was so perfect, so riding a motorbike (for the first time in my life) was such a pleasure! You feel freedom, sun and wind while sightseeing of ancient and modern Beijing. Highly recommend! For the next trip in Beijing we’re definitely booking 4-hours Moto tour.
