Night Food Tour - The tour was exactly as described. Our group consisted of 5 people plus our guide. We tasted a nice variety of food with a surprise toward the end. Interesting history and culture were also included. Three drinking games were introduced. Non-drinkers were accommodated and included.

A tour worthy of its 5 star reviews! - After spending the evening with Jacob I see why this tour gets 5 star reviews. Totally deserved, I have been in multiple food tours all over the world. This is one of the best! Highly recommended by this 83 year old traveler.

Fun and educational! - We had a fun and educational time on our private night market tour with Kevin. From the beginning, Goodmate showed great customer service. When there was a mixup in our booking dates, they worked it out. Our group has a lot of food allergies, and Kevin noted them all down and was sure to let us know what couldn’t be eaten (luckily most of the dishes could be eaten). Not only did Kevin introduce us to the food and stalls at the market, he educated us a bit about the culture and traditions. Kevin’s English is excellent. There was a good quantity of food (no need to eat dinner beforehand) and also a good mix of “standard” items plus things we would not have tried on our own. It’s clear that the company has good relationships with the stall owners - we didn’t wait for food, sometimes there was a separate table just for us. Overall, an excellent way to spend two hours in Seoul.

Wonderful and Amazing Experience!! - This was such a fantastic time - Jacob (our guide / host) was so great, thoughtful and fun. We tried so many tasty and unique foods all while exploring this awesome market. Sharing food, stories, and games with the others was such a wonderful experience - getting to know Jacob and the other 6 guests/tourists was also so cool and special. Jacob really fostered such a welcoming and adventurous atmosphere. Our 12 year old daughter had a blast as well and Jacob was so good with her too. Thanks Jacob - we really appreciated you and your tour!!!

Authentic and Fun Food Experience! - Wonderful tour and guide! Such an authentic and fun experience. We tried things we never would have (and loved them!) if we had not been on this tour. Our guide was so accommodating and warm. Highly recommend!

Awesome! Definitely recommend - An amazing time with Jae! I actually went back in August 2019 before Covid. It was spectacular! One of the highlights of my trip. Jae is a great host, and the food and drinks were very nice. I loved his Australian flair, and always felt so taken care of on his tour. I speak decent Korean, but would never have gotten into or found the places Jae took us. Whether you're completely new to Korea and the Korean language, or a seasoned veteran like myself and the people on my tour, Jae has you covered. I felt safe, happy, and full after his food tour. (Be ready to drink too!)

EXCELLENT!!! Ask for ina - Fantastic experience as I have been to other cities and Tina really made this a wonderful experience. She really found some unique and diverse places and spoke great English. Also, we were a little late, but I was very impressed how responsive and helpful Lost Plate was messaging how to catch up at the first restaurant.

Don't waste your money, they will not reschedule you even if there are torrential rains and flooding - I paid for the tour, it was the rainy season, and I was on my way to the tour and I was running about 15 minutes late due to heavy rains and flooding on the way to the tour. I contacted the tour company an hour ahead of time to notify them that I was late so I asked to meet at the second or third location, not to stop the tour, just to start without me. They said they could not accommodate me. I asked to reschedule, they said they could not accommodate me. I asked if I could be put on a waitlist for another tour day. I was in Seoul for 11 days (scheduled the tour on my first day) and I never heard back. Of course they did not refund me my $75 either. I went to the Night Market on my own and tried a few foods. The alleged CEO of the company messaged me and said there were delays likely due to the weather. Again, no refund, no rescheduling.
