THIS TOUR IS DIFFERENT THAN OTHER TOURS! I focus on food and drinks. The main focus is drinking at each spot while we eat some great food. I provide 5 hour tours. I will be taking you around the neighborhood that has the best food in Seoul, HANDS DOWN! There are tiny alleys that even Koreans don’t know about! I have taken many people around here including my native Korean friends and they will agree that it is the best of the best! Just make sure to bring a huge appetite since we will be trying a ton of dishes!

I do not take you to places that you will be able to find on google or are commercialized. I take you to places you would typically not be able to go to on your own.

If you have dietary restrictions, please don’t book or contact me first. There aren’t many non-meat options.

The food and drinks are NOT included in the price of the tour. Everything is cheap and you will split the cost with the other people in the group. It gives you more flexibility to try or not try things.

We will meet outside of exit 8 (it is NOT the elevator) of Jongno 5-ga station (dark blue line, line 1). Keep walking until you see the staircase to go outside of exit 8.

Great tour! - We had a great afternoon with Mike and the rest of the group experiencing Seoul with a local. We ate and drank at places we never would’ve found without Mike and tried food we wouldn’t have been game to try otherwise! A great experience I’d recommend. Thanks Mike!

Mike knows ALL the good spots! - This was a fantastic, immersive experience….exactly what we were looking for. Mike knows all the good spots and has clearly worked hard to architect this tour for maximum enjoyment. After the market we enjoyed multiple places off the beaten path…a few which we plan to revisit. All the food was delicious and we particularly enjoyed the Korean wine (Makgeolli) tasting. Well done Mike!

NOT YOUR AVERAGE FOOD AND TOUR - We're from Hawaii that already has a lot of different ethnic backgrounds...so besides being exposed to Korea's culture what better way to know Korea is through it's food.T..Mr Kim did not disappoint. Korea's alleys are jam packed with restaurants many are moms and pops...besides sampling the food we also got to taste different varieties of rice wine and beers. Mr Kim told us a little history of the areas we visited. Terrific tour, we also made friends from different countries on our tour.

Best food tour - Mike is great! Highly recommend. - What a tour. Saw and ate all the things I was a little intimidated to normally eat as a tourist and I loved every single thing! Mike is extremely knowledgeable and was great at explaining what each dish was. The Makgeolli tasting was the highlight for me. Highly recommend!

Best afternoon spent in Seoul! - Had a fantastic food tour in Seoul. The guide, Mike, was extremely knowledgable about local foods drinks and the history of the area. We had really good food in places we would never found on our own and food and drink we would never had tried without Mike. Would recommend 10/10

Best Tour I’ve ever Taken! - This was by far the best tour I’ve ever taken in any city! What made Mike’s tour so special is that he’s actually a chef and knows the alcohol. What’s even greater is he has the perspective from being. Korean American and understands what you truly want to see and eat. His stories are passsionate and I can truly tell he is so passionate about what he does and wants to deliver the upmost and authentic experience. I truly enjoyed spending time with Mike and really recommend this tour to anyone and everyone if you are visiting Seoul! It is by far my favorite experience!!!

Pricey Food Tour - While I enjoyed this tour, I did find a few things to be a bit disappointing or strange, which led to my lower review. We went to multiple locations over 5 hours and tried a variety of alcohol drinks and food. I found the market tour especially interesting and helpful as going to these places are very overwhelming at first. We got to try the raw beef and live octopus and fried chicken to name a few things that my friend and I had been wanting to eat while in Korea. However, I found the tour to be expensive. We paid the tour price and then were required to have an additional 40-50k yen. The tour guide would take money at different intervals from us but there was really no transparency about if this money was being entirely used for food. I guess my entire point is this tour isn't worth the money as you are paying an amount for a walking guide and then paying 1/3 extra money for food on top.
