You can stroll along its paths, enjoy the views of the bay, of the cliffs behind it, have a drink at the bar, take a dip or visit the work “Hondalea” in the Casa del Faro by the sculptress Cristina Iglesias (previous booking).

Alternatively, if you prefer, you can simply enjoy the walk, which takes approximately 40 minutes. Santa Clara Island is a natural haven in the heart of La Concha Bay. Here, you can take in the bay’s scenery, stroll along its trails, admire the cliffs, grab a drink at the summer bar, or swim and sunbathe. Additionally, the Casa del Faro features Cristina Iglesias’ work “Hondalea,” open for visits during Holy Week and summer.

  • The ship is wheelchair accessible, but Santa Clara Island is not. The stop on the island is optional

Excellent - Very nice place, worth visiting. You can eat on the island, but you can also bring your food, there are spaces with tables and benches to eat under the trees. Rara mi was lovely, I recommend it

Excellent Value; Impressive Views - Excellent boat ride to the island with spectacular views of the island and San Sebastián. Great value as well. Would recommend to anyone visiting San Sebastián.

Well worth it - Due to bad weather I received a call the day before just to advise the trip for the next day may be cancelled. Luckily the weather improved and the trip went ahead. The boat itself was not overcrowded and you could move around the boat of you wished. Seeing San Sebastian from the perspective of the sea was really very good. We did have an hour on Santa Clara island (you simply get the next boat back) which was enough to explore and was definitely worth it. There is a cafe and toilets but these were closed, and presumably open later in the season. Glad we did the trip.

A photo worthy experience - A short excursion out to Santa Clara and back provides beautiful views of the city. If you go early you can opt to get off on the island and your, we did a round trip on the last boat (7:30pm) which was perfect.
