Great fun! - Excellent experience. Arrived on time, we were in a buggy with 4 others. Drove out to the dessert where we did the dune bashing. Lots of fun but as stated in the booking, if you have any pains/injuries, you will get thrown around a bit. Our driver Jamil was great, he went out of his way at the end of the evening to take us to a dark spot to get a clear view of the stars and was really informative throughout. The shows were all great fun, traditional dance, belly dancing and a fire performance. Food was really tasty with lots of vegetarian dishes, all soft drinks included - cans of pop/water (water was only sugar free option) and beer was a reasonable price

Amazing time Dune Bashing and adventuring in the desert - Abbas was an amazing guide. Truly took the experience to the next level. The truck was cool, comfortable and the dune bashing was unlike anything we’ve ever done. The sand boarding was exceptional and the food / show was very unique and the crowd was lit. Thx again, Abbas!

disappointing, poorly organised, unwelcoming - fairly disappointing overall. Driver was a bit surly and didn’t really say much. We thought we’d arrived at the “camp” as we werent told otherwise, but it turned out this was the just the stop off for the sand boarding (basically a few old snow boards with/ without bindings located at the bottom of a dune). at this place we also had a camel ride opportunity (2 minute ride) and quadbiking (extra). no refreshments offered after at least 1.5 hrs travel, just a man offering photos with his hawk (10 dihra)! then we were whisked off again before we all had a chance to have our camel ride. finally made it to the camp proper, no warm welcome, only drinks on offer were chargeable until the included drinks were available 30 mins after arrival. Man trying to flog personalised sand bottles etc etc. buffet was ok, entertainment (whirling dirvish and fire eater) were good but didnt last long. the “compere” was terrible. All in all it felt very “production line” - soon as meal was over we were loaded back in the 4x4s. oh and dont expect a nice desert night sky - so much light pollution from the various camps you could barely see any stars!

Not as impressive as experienced before - Due to Covid-19 the desert safari was restricted to the Dubai Emirate (whereas the nicest close-by dunes are in Sharjah). The venue of the desert safari was totally unimpressive and the dune bashing was very artificial going round and round the same few dunes. This was our second visit and it was nothing like the first visit. The dinner venue was beautiful but food was average with the meat overly BBQed prior to our arrival and dry. The BBQ could have been live to increase the quality of the meat. The shows were relatively OK. The driver we had was excellent and provided practical and historical background information throughout the journey.

No show - They never turned up, no contact at all, we booked and receive confirmation etc all fine had our tickets - then we waited an hour and a half and no one. I called several times and no one answered so I contacted Viator who I booked through, they couldn’t contact them either so we received a refund. Very Disappointing though.

Hugendisappoinent - Please don’t use this company planet Safari booked through Viator. They had amazing rental October and then 2 bad ones. Unfortunately, we did not look at the current reviews otherwise we would not have booked. The tour operator never showed up at the hotel and never responded to text or messages so we essentially lost out on six hours of an opportunity in the desert outside of Dubai.

STAY AWAY - worst company ever. We booked the safari tour through Tripadvisor. The whole family was looking forward to this trip and was excited. The company withdrew the money and simply didn't show up. no driver, no call. no message. We tried to reach the tour operator by phone 50 times - in vain. Our money was gone and the family was sad. It's better to keep your distance from this safari tour operator

!Be aware !- No appearance, No communication. - I rarely write negative reviews, but on this occasion, I feel compelled to share our disappointing experience. We had booked a Dubai safari dinner for three people with a scheduled pick-up at 3:30 pm. Being aware that the car could arrive 30-60 minutes prior to the scheduled time, we remained vigilant. Despite attempting to contact the company approximately 20 times through calls and emails, our efforts were met with silence. Without receiving any communication, we decided to wait outside the building from 3 pm onwards. Unfortunately, the car never showed up, and we found ourselves waiting until 4:30 pm with no information whatsoever. Frustratingly, even after spending an hour on the line with Viator, they were unable to reach the local provider responsible for this experience. This level of unresponsiveness is unacceptable, especially considering that the Dubai safari dinner is considered one of the most important tourist activities. Regrettably, it resulted in the waste of our entire afternoon...

TERRIBLE, SCARY... - TERRIBLE SAFARI DRIVER AHAMAD..! PLEASE DO NOT LET YOUR SAFARI COMPANY DRIVERS RIP TOURIST AND REGRET THEY TOOK THE TOUR..!!!! I booked a dessert safari with bbq dinner from my hotel Rove City Center Deira, from the time i got in to the vehicle till i got off was in disappointment & fear as a solo traveler & this was the first ever i faced and i hope its the last...!!!! REASON: I booked through the hotel for UAE DIHIRAM 288.7 and i was told by hotel to pay to the driver, to my surprise while on the way to pick up 4 more tourists from another hotel driver was asking me over dhs 350 and i said no and call the hotel but he didn't and i didn't have a local mobile to call, i was feeling scared since i was alone and time to time on the safari he said at times dhs 400+ coming up to the safari camp table showing some whatsapp msg someone sent and trying to rip me off thinking i must be stupid to get caught, At last the safari guy gave up trying every possible thing to convince me it was over dhs 300+,400+ and agreed the amount which was mentioned on the price the hotel leaflet mentioned. i was lucky to find some nice people on tour who joined from a another hotel, i told them the story and they were checking up on me even after they got down to see if i went to the hotel safe. i will not ever recommend this company, i have traveled toured through TRAVCO for the past few years i never faced such bad behavior.
