Desert safari with camel ride and dune boarding - It was an excellent activity. The organisation was very good. Our Guide Ikhlaq Hussain was very kind and funny. He knew a lot about the city and gave us advise what we could visit and even took pictures for us. The car ride in the desert was very enjoyable!

Worth it experience for the first time tourist from US - We enjoy our desert safari Mr mohammed khan is very friendly and helpful but we dont like the driver of the 4x4 in sand dune bashing still i will recommend capture desert tours for my family and friends

Good ride, dinner could be better - Desert safari was really good. Ali was great at taking us to the different places. Only part that I think could have been better was the food at dinner - this part was the lowlight of the whole experience.

Avoid! - This was a very disappointing experience. There is nothing tour-like about this trip - we were just picked up by a random driver who didn't even pretend to be a tour guide. Our driver was rude and hardly talked at all throughout the whole experience. When we asked him a question he seemed annoyed. He would just stop the car and say "get out" and then march away, and not explain where we were or what we were doing. He did not introduce himself and didn't ask for our names, so he just referred to us by our skin colour which is not nice at all. Also be prepared that you may be sitting in the car for up to two hours picking up the others in the group - we were first so had to wait whilst we drove from north Dubai to extremely south Dubai (even past Expo site) to pick everyone up. Even though it only would have been a 5 minute detour to be dropped off first on the way back, the driver made us go all the way south again to drop the last people off first so we were first to be picked up and last to be dropped off so ended up in the car for hours and hours. He wanted to drop us off last because he lived near our hotel and didn't want to go out of the way 5 minutes, which is very selfish. If you are not paying extra to do ATV, be prepared that you will need to wait while the others do it and be harassed by people trying to sell you things. The dune bashing itself was fun but didn't last long. The camel ride was literally 2 minutes long (I counted). The food was okay. Overall, a mediocre experience that would have been elevated with an actual tour guide but was actually made unpleasant by a very rude tour guide. The really annoying thing is that Capture Desert specifically asked me to provide feedback or if anything went wrong but when I gave them this feedback they didn't even have the courtesy to reply which is really pathetic. I would avoid this company and recommend all to not be tempted by the good price - it is not worth it! We wish we could have that day of our holiday back as it was a waste of time.

Worst VIP experience - Our Driver Mohamed deserves 5 stars from us. He was absolutely brilliant and without him there would be zero stars. His skills in dune bashing are faultless. Unfortunately that is where it ends. The BBQ camp was pathetic. All they want to do is sell you things. We bought the VIP package, but over there we were definitely not treated as VIP. The food they serve you on a tray is a 10 dhiram indian veg plate and a guy will come bringing cold bbq chicken and some lamb. The soft drinks are hot and no ice. The live shows are about 5 minutes each and there is three shows with no crowd interaction. This is my 6th desert safari in dubai over the last 20 years and if by far the worst. My advice is pay a little more and go to a better camp
