Home from home - We stayed in one of the glamping tents and it was so cozy, despite the rain! Use of the guesthouse amenities was very much appreciated and there is such a homely, welcoming atmosphere in the whole site. The bbq campfire and hottub area is wonderful . We went to an evening of live music in the barn which is so cozy with lots of comfy sofas to lounge on :) Micheal and his family are lovely hosts , it's a home from home ! We will be back. Thank you for making my 40th birthday so special :)

An enjoyable stay - We were pleased to be able to rebook a stay in Inch House Ireland as a previous booking had to be cancelled due to Covid. We stopped off here on our way to Co Kerry as it was about half way. Our room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated with a large comfortable bed. We had the use of a well equipped kitchen with tea, coffee milk etc all supplied. It was nice to be able to meet other guests there. Breakfast is not supplied but vouchers were available for a local restaurant which offers a wide range of lovely food and served by friendly staff. Unfortunately we did not have time to experience the hot tub (maybe next time). An enjoyable stay in lovely quiet surroundings. Thank you Michael. July10

Super find, little gem 💎 - My daughter and I spent one night here and it was fabulous. Michael is a super host. Very welcoming and informative. Tent was beautiful and super comfy. Beds were perfect and the added electric blankets are a great tough. We played table tennis the morning we were leaving. Unfortunately the weather was awful but there is plenty on site to keep you occupied. Will 💯 return asap ☺️

Horrible - The guide comes to the pick up point at 10am instead of the 8am departure that I booked for and blames me for not giving my flight schedule. I had to cancel the trip as I would have missed my connecting flight scheduled for 2.50pm..

Shocking - I’ve never posted a review before and myself and our guests are easy pleased but this experience was absolutely shocking. We hosted a hen party of 28 guests here. The business is a great idea with so much potential. Unfortunately, management has let this place down hugely. The issues we had and our encounters with Michael were absolutely unacceptable. We ensured we communicated all requests with Michael when booking as we were paying a large sum of money. Upon arrival, despite being told check in was at 4, guests were unable to check in until 6pm. The grass around the glamping tents was overgrown and looked abandoned. We requested a set amount of tents when booking and one tent was missing. They ended up building one in front of all guests in torrential rain. Mattresses were being manoeuvred in a storm and were wet so we couldn’t use them. We resorted to squeezing into shared, single beds. The entrance to the event area is surrounded by bins which were untouched the duration of our stay and surrounded by wasps and flies. A portaloo, which we weren’t made aware of and cleaned ourselves throughout our stay, was also at the entrance. The hot tub situation was the opposite of what was advertised. There was one hot tub for 28 guests, it was dirty and the strong chemicals caused irritation. We weren’t shown how to turn off heat lamps in the barn before bed and our paid for karaoke machine wouldn’t work. We tried to contact Michael, who did not respond. We were later told we should not be contacting management after hours. Various services were available for hire through the property. These companies were beyond wonderful to us. We couldn’t fault their service. We paid for a bbq and a cocktail bar tender (Brain). When Brain was finished, we insisted he eat before he left. Michael came storming out to where everyone was and made a huge scene claiming Brian was not allowed to eat. We paid for and offered him the food ourselves. He embarrassed Brian and made everyone uncomfortable. Michael then had the audacity to proceed to queue up and take food for himself. There were no instructions on disposal of glass so we placed it in an unmarked bin beside the general bin and made sure we kept tidy. Michael barged in beside our guests and sellotaped a sign to the table they were sitting at stating “please use glass bins for glass”. Rather than coming quietly to one of our organisers. The bin location was unclear and again, everyone was uncomfortable. Our guests were trying to enjoy afternoon tea outside when a sewage draining van pulled up and proceeded to empty the sewers directly across from eating guests. The smell was unbearable it was an absolute joke. The kitchen also smelled foul and the floor was wet and dirty. Bathrooms were not nearly up to standard and lacked hand towels or soap. Sockets in rooms were broken and windows were jammed. There were filthy stained bedsheets that we couldn’t let guests sleep in. Before leaving we attempted to have a professional, reasonable chat with Michael regarding our concerns. We were met with what can only be described as an appalling response. Michael literally laughed in our faces. “We’re not your slaves” was one of his countless, ridiculous responses. There wasn’t an ounce of accountability or understanding. This man is unprofessional, imprudent, childish and clearly incompetent in anything hospitality related. We have since come across many terrible reviews. He has demanded to search guests bags, looked through possessions without permission and rooms were entered when guests weren’t present. It has also been suggested he was watching guests on camera. If there’s another owner of this place, I suggest they see sense and hire someone less idiotic to run it.
