  • Bur Dubai Abra Station - Dubai Creek has been a vital part of local life for generations, serving as the site for early settlers and the city’s first port and pearling industry. Today, it remains a bustling area, attracting visitors year-round. For just AED1 (US$0.27), you can ride a traditional ferry boat, known as an abra, to cross the creek between Bur Dubai and Deira, Dubai’s city center; this journey is one of the most affordable and authentic experiences in the city.

An abra, meaning “to cross” in Arabic, operates every few minutes throughout the day between four stations along Dubai Creek. The first route runs from Deira Old Souk Abra Station (near the Spice Souk) to Bur Dubai Abra Station (west of the Textile Souk). The second, busier route, runs continuously from Al Sabkha Abra Station (just southwest of Baniyas Square) to Dubai Old Souk Abra Station.

  • Dubai Gold Souk - A traditional market in Dubai’s commercial business district in Deira, Al Ras, featuring over 380 retailers, most of whom are jewelry traders.

  • Mercato Shopping Mall - A place for a lunch break at guests’ own expense.

The sail-shaped building stands 321m tall on its own island, offering stunning views of the Arabian Gulf.

A very extensive city tour - We loved this full day tour. The itinerary was perfect - the combination of old and modern, the use of different means of transport - the coach, the traditional boat and the monorail, time to explore the souks (markets) and watch the fountain show. As we were the cruise ship passengers, we were conveniently picked up from the closest location (they could not enter the cruise terminal), Queen Elizabeth 2 hotel. The shuttle car to take us to the coach location (the tour starting point) was brand new and the driver was super polite and engaging. We would like to thank Mr Gaurav from Efficient tours for replying to numerous questions (even after midnight!) in no time and solving the problem arisen.

Excellent Full Day Dubai Visit - The trip was a whole day trip. Including The Frame, The View at palm , The Miracle Garden , The Burj Al Arab, The Museum of Future. The first 3 spots we bought the tickets from the trip supplier with discount while the rest were photo taking only. However, the whole trip was value for money. The driver was skillful explaining the contents of the spots. He was difficult to find parking space but still can meet us on time everywhere after we were finished the sightseeing. This trip supplier was trusted and professional. Will definitely go with them in the future.
