Highlights

Onofrio’s Large Fountain - The Large Onofrio’s Fountain is a prominent landmark in Dubrovnik, Croatia, also a meeting point for our food tour. Located at the entrance of Dubrovnik’s Old Town, near Pile Gate, this large circular fountain is a remarkable example of the city’s historical infrastructure and architectural grandeur.

Constructed in 1438 by the renowned Italian engineer Onofrio della Cava, the fountain was part of a complex water supply system that brought water from a well-spring located over 7 miles away. Despite suffering damage from an earthquake in 1667 and the Croatian War of Independence in the 1990s, the fountain has been well-restored and continues to serve as a functional public water source, offering cool refreshment to locals and tourists alike.

Excellent food and wine walking tour in Dubrovnik Old Town with Ana - This tour was one of the highlights of our Dubrovnik trip! Before deciding on this tour, I went through all reviews to date and found it to be highly recommended. Our guide, Ana, was welcoming, warm, accommodating and knowledgeable about the city, its history and recent archaeological discoveries. We found Ana to be passionate, enthusiastic and engaging. It was lovely to dine at the most amazing places, while having a local friend answer queries you may have wondered but could not find the answers to. We were fortunate to be the only two on this tour on the day, so it was truly a bespoke experience. We would certainly recommend this tour to any travellers to Dubrovnik!

Makes me want to come back just for the restaurants - Ana had excellent knowledge of the city and its food and food history. Great choice of restaurants. Walking, viewing and eating was well spaced out.

10/10 - Awesome experience to do to try many of the different dunrovnik cusines. The resteraunts we were taken to were all amazing and nothing disapointed. Also cant go wrong ending at an amazing gelato spot. Drazen was an amazing guide and not only taught us about all the different foods but gave us a ton of history as well.

Local Slice of Life in Dubrovnik - What an evening! I've done food tours all over the world and this exceeded expectations. The food was amazing - made with love and a focus on local delicacies. The guide was world-class - great energy, gave us insights into the history and local life, and showed us how Croatians live! Would highly recommend - 10 out of 10!

Great experience! - We had such a nice time on our tour, the portions, included wine tastings and variety of food offered were perfect. Accommodations were even made for the two pescatarians in our group. We enjoyed that a few recommendations for local shopping were made as well and we plan to go back and find the stores we passed. This was a fun way to spend an afternoon and we left feeling full as if we had dinner. Would highly recommend this tour!!

Tasty Tour with a Side of History - We had a lovely time on this food tour through Dubrovnik’s Old City. Drazen was our guide and he took us to three fantastic restaurants and a gelato shop. This tour perfectly blended history, culture, wine and food. After the tour, the owner of the company emailed us with recommendations of places to eat during the rest of our trip, which was so helpful and appreciated. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this experience if you’re visiting Dubrovnik.

Dubrovnik Food!! - Thanks to Drazen for a wonderful experience. His passion for his job is so obvious. We chose to do this tour early in our trip in the hope that it would help get a feel for the city. It definitely did that and Drazen’s historical knowledge and enthusiasm for the delicious food and wines we sampled was lovely. As non meat eaters, we were provided with fantastic options. There were 7 in our group which was perfect and we were able to ask Drazen so many questions. Such a nice guy. Highly recommend this tour. Croatian wine is deelish!!
