Please meet at our office at 1212 State Hwy 3, Durango, CO 81301 30 minutes before departure. No flip flops, wear shoes with a back strap or tennis shoes. We have wetsuit booties (wetshoes) available for rent.

Nice trip down the river - Nice trip down the river. Only got hung up once on a rock. Didn't last the full four and a half hours, but it was plenty long for us older folks. Grandkids had a great time

Fun float in the low water - We went to Durango off-season for rafting but my friend still wanted to go on the river. Despite the low water (less than 1/10th of high season), our tour was fun. The guides were all good and we got to get out of the boat and splash round in the river. If you want to have a true whitewater experience, go in May/June. But whenever you go, Colorado Outback Adventures is a good choice.

Always a good time on the river! - Had a blasty blast!!!!! Adam is a great guide, navigated the boat around pinball alley, had some good info about the area, suggested cool places to go as we were rafting and having the time of our life!!! Thank you!!!

Great Family Time - This was the first experience rafting with my family. I had a couple kids that were nervous at first but had so much fun they want to do it again.

Family fun - We had a great time! All of the staff was very friendly and our guide, Justin, was very good to us. He made sure we had fun but when we got cold I could tell he was trying to make sure we didn’t get splashed as much. Our 10 and 12 year olds loved the trip!

4.5 hour trip - I highly recommend rafting down the Animas River through Colorado Outback Adventures! The 4.5 hour trip was perfect for me. Prepare to get splashed, especially sitting in the front. Between the rapids area you'll get a chance to dry off some. The highest level rapid we went though was a 3 and that got intense, so brace your self for a good time!

Awesome trip - Had a great time. Our guide Corey was great. The river is a lot of fun. Highly recommend. The trip was just the right length for what we wanted. Beautiful scenery. Interesting history.
