Beautiful views and wonderful experience. Highly recommend! - This was such a fun and beautiful experience. Our guide Fred was knowledgeable and kind. He drove us up La Plata mountain and the views were breathtaking. We felt safe the entire time and enjoyed our experience immensely. Highlights for us were the views from the top and the stop at the waterfall on the way down. Highly recommend. Thank you for a wonderful Jeep Tour!

A must do - Great people who run the tours. Gene lent me his own fleece jacket so I would not be cold in the high elevations. Fred was a careful driver along treacherous rugged roads. Never felt rushed. Took photos for me at scenic points

10 STAR TOURS - I can not say enough about Durango Rivertrippers. I took my Dad to Durango as a Father's Day present and I booked the 5 hour custom tour, as well as, the twilight tour. For the private tour, we had Bill as our guide. Bill is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We left the itinerary up to Bill and he did not disappoint. We headed from Durango to Silverton where we saw numerous mines and fantastic views. We definitely had an off-road adventure...which is exactly what we were looking for. Yes, it was bumpy but we had a blast. We had lunch by an abandoned mine and spent around 3 to 3 1/2 hours off-road. EXCELLENT TOUR. For the Twilight tour we had Fred who was also a fantastic guide. Lucky for us, the Twilight tour ended up being a private tour as well. We drove through the San Juan Forest and even saw a double rainbow. Fred was informative and friendly. I would give these tours 10 stars if I could. HIGHLY recommend Durango Rivertrippers to everyone.

Planes-trains-automobiles - Day 4 of 8-day 40th wedding anniversary road trip. - My two favorite parts/memories of the La plays private jeep tour was appreciating the great outdoor beauty of the mountains and glimmering aspens, the splash trickling sounds of running creeks and waterfalls, all in the natural quiet of the jeep off road trail without the tourist “noise” interrupting the peaceful, extraordinary views of the tour. 2. Bill - our awesome easy going driver with the enthusiasm, and knowledge of mining history of the historic mountains of the national forest, and Bills ability/gift to anticipate the noteworthy photo ops otherwise missed by the unknowing explorer. I appreciated only four passengers including ourselves focused on the trail ride and not their social media.

Ride was very uncomfortable. Wish we were told to bring good wind cheaters etc. - Seats were very uncomfortable. We got sick from wind and cold since we were not well informed. Please let your clients know about the weather etc.
