- Ocean Surfari - Reef Surfari Snorkel Excursions - Join us aboard Reef Surfari for the Do It All Trip where we head to 2 snorkel stops, eat fresh baked pizza and enjoy an open bar sunset dance party all in one trip. From October to March, Reef Surfari departs at 1:30 from the dock at American Yacht Harbor in Red Hook on St Thomas and swings over to Cruz Bay to pick up our St John guests at 2:00. From April to September, we depart St Thomas at 2:00 and St John at 2:30. We then head to two snorkel locations in the Virgin Islands National Park around St John to look for turtles, beautiful coral and a plethora of tropical fish. After snorkeling, we open up the bar and pick up the pizza, included in the trip price, at Pizza PI in Christmas Cove of Great St. James. The bar will be open with rum punch, painkillers, sodas and water while we cruise around St. Thomas and St. John, crank up the jams and have a sunset dance party. We then return to St John between 6:30-7:00 and then head back to St Thomas between 7:00-7:30 depending on the time of sunset throughout the year.
This trip is not recommended for cruise ship passengers. Cruise ship ports are 30 minutes from our dock and we cannot guarantee you will make it back to the ship on time.

Welcome aboard Reef Surfari on our Do It All Trip that offers two different snorkel spots, freshly baked pizza for lunch and a sunset dance party with an open bar – all in one journey! Between October and March, our trip starts from the dock at American Yacht Harbor in Red Hook, St Thomas at 1:30 pm, and we swing by Cruz Bay to pick up our St John passengers at 2:00 pm. From April to September, the trip starts at 2:00 pm from St Thomas and 2:30 pm from St John. We visit two snorkel sites within the Virgin Islands National Park near St John where we can spot turtles, tropical fish and beautiful corals. Post snorkeling, we pop open the bar and grab the pizza, included in your trip fee, from Pizza PI located in Christmas Cove of Great St. James. Enjoy rum punch, painkillers, sodas and water as we cruise around St. Thomas and St. John, whilst enjoying great music and a sunset dance party. The trip concludes at St John between 6:30-7:00 pm and at St Thomas between 7:00-7:30 pm, varying with the sunset timings throughout the year.

Worth the time and money - This is the second time I have taken this trip and it was worth it. They were very accommodating We had John Jamie and Andy. They made sure everyone got everything they wanted and took time to have conversations with everyone. We all felt so relaxed. If you get a chance to do this trip you will be glad you did

Great snorkeling, excellent crew! - My family and I had a great time on this adventure. John and Steve were fantastic hosts and crew - knowledgeable and helpful all along the way.
The only feedback I have is to lower the volume of the music, so as to encourage mingling and chatting - either within your own party or with others on the boat. That makes it more fun. I've done a fair amount of these types of activities, and have gotten the most from engaging with a group.

Amazing! - We had so much fun! Steve and Dallas were awesome. We got to see so many turtles. Our 3 teenaged sons had a blast snorkeling, listening to music and dancing. Great experience, definitely worth the money!

Expectations Met + A Great Crew - Very nice afternoon. Enjoyable weather, sites and overall experience. John and Steve did a great job with all instructions and ensuring everyone’s safety. Good regional music selections and perfect scenery made this a solid choice on our family trip.

A Relaxing and Enjoyable Afternoon - My husband our daughter, son and his girlfriend all enjoyed a wonderful afternoon with Steve and Darian (sorry if I spelled your name wrong). Both locations we snorkeled in were prime spots. We saw tons of turtles in Maho Bay. Our second stop was to Christmas Cove where we saw lots of tropical looking fish as well as a few turtles and a ship wreck. The music and drinks were a wonderful addition to the trip as well as the delicious pizza. We ended the night watching the sunset and dancing. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting St Thomas.

AAH-SOME!!!! DEFINITELY EARNED ALL 5 STARS!!! - Outstanding experience! I've done snorkeling experiences with Ocean Surfari before, and this was YET ANOTHER one that hit all 5 stars! 1) Exciting itinerary, with snorkeling, pizza, open bar, and sunset! 2) Captain Steve and First Mate Darrien were outstanding hosts! Definitely boat and marine life professionals, but also great fun! 3) WONDERFUL snorkeling stops! First in St John, where we saw multiple sea turtles; then Christmas Cove, with a sunken boat, awesome fish, another turtle, and a sting ray! 4) DELICIOUS pizza! 5) INCREDIBLE sunset viewing!!!

Fantastic snorkeling trip - This crew is fantastic! They went over and above to take care of everyone. Very fun, highly recommend. We left from St. Thomas. We saw sea turtles, sting rays, a sunken sailboat and amazing fish. Will definitely book this trip again.

Amazing trip! - We had an amazing time on our afternoon snorkel and pizza pi trip! We saw so many turtles, lots of fish swimming around a sunken ship, and honestly was shocked by how good the pizza was. The boat is flat with a lot of seating and room for dancing which is really nice compared the some boats where you can’t find a good spot to sit and have to climb over sails, etc to get to the bar. 10/10 would recommend! The drinks and music were also fantastic and made the trip a lot of fun!!

Worth it. - Wonderful excursion. Not too much wildlife for the first stop, but Christmas bay was great as our second stop. Drinks are included and we all had a good time. 10/10 would do again.

Excellent - Perfect from start to finish. I speak for my group when I say this was one of the best experiences of our lives. The captain and his staff made all the differences. I would encourage anyone traveling to St. Thomas to use this captain and this crew—perfection at its best.
