Fantastic Experience!! - Went diving several times with Aqua Action these past few days! Savannah at the desk was SUPER helpful and friendly. My favorite dives were the boat dives around the island. I HIGHLY recommend Jack as your guide and Lenroy as your captain! Both guys know so much about the islands, the marine life, fishing, catching lobster, and exciting dive spots. These guys will truly show your group a great time! Also, the pineapple was delicious! 🤩 With Jack and Lenroy, you won’t be disappointed!

Great time...great people! - Had a great time diving and snorkeling with Aqua Action! I highly recommend. EVERYONE was so nice, helpful, happy, knowledgeable of the area and just a pleasure to dive and snorkel with. Even let my son drive the boat a little...which he will probably never forget! They went out of their way to help even as we forgot some things on the boat. Only drawback; you must walk a short distance in the water to get in the boat which is not a big deal...just make sure you have a dry bag. We will be back...!! Thanks for all your help Elena... ;)

Great Experience - Diving with Aqua Action Scuba was a great experience. The boat was located right at the resort for easy access. The boat captains and crew were terrific and super helpful with any questions and problems. All of the dives were very safe and relaxing. Most of the dives were under 50 feet making for long bottom times, the longest was almost an hour. We visited wrecks as well as reefs. If you are looking to do hardcore deep diving this is not the boat. If they don’t have at least 3 divers they don’t go out. My objective was to do 6 dives which I did. We really enjoyed diving with them.

Knowledgeable of the best sites - I dive annually with Aqua Action. My wife only snorkels. They have trips that accompany both of us. Great prices and a fun time. They've been doing this awhile and have the logistics streamlined. Attentive to your needs. Great people.

Best Dive Shop on St. Thomas - Did two boat trips, each two tank dives. Diving was great and AA Dive shop ran a great program. All equipment operated flawlessly, divemasters Jared, day 1, and Alex, day 2 showed us around at The Ledges, Navy Barges, and Christmas Cove. We’ve been going to Aqua Action since 2008 and will only dive with them each and every time we visit St. Thomas.

An experience, but not a good one. - We booked a dive trip with Aqua Action months in advance. We were planning on diving 4 days. The day before we arrived they informed us that our first day of diving was canceled because their boat needed maintenance. Understandable, but I would've thought they would've tried to schedule it at a time when there wasn't people diving. However, they told us that we would still be able to do the rest of our dives. We were scheduled to do two, two tank dives Friday and Saturday, a two tank dive Sunday morning, a night dive Sunday evening, and a two tank dive Monday morning. We found another dive operator to accommodate us on Friday, but were still under the impression that they were going to be able to work with us for the other dives. The dive on Saturday morning was an experience, and not a good one. We were told to get there at 8 o'clock, but when the dive leader arrived he said that we did not need to be there until 8:30. We did not get underway until 9:45 AM. Instead of a dive boat we went out on a fishing boat. Which could be fine, except for the vessel was not at all accommodated for scuba diving. The tanks were left loose behind the captain, and as we were sitting on the back bench as the boat began moving the tanks were sliding off of each other and feet were at risk of being smashed by loose tanks. I thought to myself, maybe this is just a rough start, but it did not get much better. We got to the dive site and had to either back roll off the boat, or put our gear on in the water. Not a big deal, but inconvenient. The dive itself was fine. The dive leader leading the dive was also fine. The boat captain was a joke. When we came up to the surface after the dive he was fishing. Not very professional to be fishing with divers in the water. Not to mention he was supposed to be watching a snorkeler who is basically off on the side of a island without any supervision. I have no idea why they had snorkeler's come to the location because it was not a good location for snorkeling. As we were leaving the dive site to go to the next area the captain was still more concerned with fishing. We were trolling for fish for a while and watching him fish which was still unprofessional. When we finally left to go to the next site the tray that was attached to the side of the boat with a sharp knife was left loose and the knife came flying off the tray and hit my leg. We get to the new dive site and the dive goes fine, but the captain still continues to fish. I will also say that getting on the boat was a challenge as it was just a small collapsible ladder on the side of the motors. My father had a recent shoulder replacement, and was in need of another, which made it very difficult for him to get off the boat. When I got off the boat for the 2nd dive I handed my gear to the captain who set it beside him, but was not super interested in assisting us back on the boat. He was more concerned with fishing. As we were traveling back to shore, I realized I was missing some of my gear that was attached to my BCD. We looked all over the boat and could not find it. It wasn't until we pulled into the harbor that we realize that the captain left my gear on the outside the boat next to the motors as we were traveling through rough seas. It is a miracle that my gear was not lost. We finally got off the boat at 1:30 PM, which we had initially anticipated being done by 12 PM. As I was putting my gear in my car I must've accidentally left my GoPro case beside the car, because when I got back to our room I realized that it was missing. I went back to the location that we were parked and it was gone. I tried to check with the dive center, but they were closed to go to a wing festival. I checked with hotel and dive center once they were open, but no one said they found my camera. They can't be responsible for someone stealing my camera, but it was a little bit of insult to injury. We had one more night dive that was a shore dive, which was better suited for snorkeling. We never went below 12 feet, and it was just rather unorganized. They canceled every single one of the dives that we were supposed to do besides the Saturday morning dive in the night dive. Luckily we were able to find another dive center in Red Hook that was able to salvage our trip. Based upon my experience I will never consider using Aqua Action Dive center again. They cannot be relied upon, and the experience was altogether unprofessional. I would highly suggest going elsewhere.

Avoid this Dive Shop - The worst experience I have had in 20 years of diving. Our dive master was unfriendly and made the dive very confusing. She touched the animals, coral and moved things around, which kills the coral and animals. The captain gave a half ass safety talk. The water was nice. Very disappointed!!!
