Mount Rinjani - Arrival Day: One day before trak begin, we will come to pickup you as included in the price and transfer to hotel in Sembalun.
Day 1:
After breakfast at hotel we will register at the Rinjani information center.
Trekking start at Sembalun 8:00 am with a gentle climb through open meadow. After about 2 hours of walking, we will reach the post 1 (1300m), and another 40 minutes to Pos 2 (1500m). We will continue to Pos 3 (1800m) and have lunch here.
After lunch and rest, we will go to crater rim (2639m). It takes 3 hours including a prolonged steep climb. We will camp the night on the crater rim. We can enjoy the view of sunrise and sunset.
Day 2:
We wake up around 2:00 am under the cover of darkness with a hot drink and a light breakfast. Start heading to the summit at 3:00 am with a moderate trek, followed by a fairly easy but longer trek. Final approach that involves climbing up steep volcanic scree looser.
At 6:00.am We reach the summit (3726 m) with a beautiful sunrise.
After that, we will descend into the crater rim Sembalun within 2 hours and then continue down to Sembalun, for 5 hours to reach and from Sembalun we drop of you to the location included in the price. finish trip

Rinjani Trekking 2d1n - Mr. Em and his team are very friendly, including guide and porter. Everything was organized well so that we could focus on and enjoy the trek. The accomodation the night before the trek in Sembalun was clean and comfortable.
Only little downside was the ~1hr belated pick up from the harbor due to a misunderstanding from the driver but I'm sure this was an exception.
Overall we were very satisfied! I think this tour has the best price-performance ratio you can get.

Stellar - Epic adventure with Mr Em and his lovely crew! The stay the night prior is beautiful, they help you with anything you need before trekking. The trek itself was amazing and our guide, Nas was fantastic. They fed us plenty of delicious food along the way and made it easy for us to enjoy the experience overall. 100% recommend!

unforgettably fun experience with Em's team in Rinjani - We (5 person) took 4 days and 3 nights package of rinjani hiking, via sembalun-torean. there were so many trip operators based in Jakarta, but we chose Em because as Sembalun's local business owner, he knows his area best.
Em's rate including lombok airport pick up to the guest house, and transport back when we finished hiking.
We stay overnight in Em's cozy guesthouse in Sembalun before hiking the next morning. registrations and administrative requirements have already handled by em.
Em's team including 1 guide and 5 porters. they took care of everything, starting from setting up sleeping tent and toilet tent, cooking meals and waters, serving snacks, escorting to summit, and helping us with documentation.
Ading, the guide was really attentive during our hike. all porters were professional and smiley, giving us good vibes during tough days in rinjani.
Em's camping equipment was impressive. spacious tent, premium sleeping bag with pillow and thick mattress, comfortable table and chairs to dine in.
The meal was tasty and freshly cooked. the drink selection could be improved (adding instant jahe, nutrisari/ kopi susu perhaps?) they even served us mung beans porridge to keep us warm.
Overall it was a pleasant experience with em adventure. you only need to bring personal belongings in daypack / small carrier.
When you plan to hike Rinjani, do not hesitate to contact Em. he will not only serve you professionally, but with heart.
Em will make sure you start hiking fully energized, and finish with smile, as beautiful as Sunset in Segara Anak lake.

Marvelous Experience! - Beautiful experience in a spectacular and wild environment. The guide and the porters were very kind and polite. We had water and food for the entire hiking. Just a tip for the Rinjani Park Managers: be sure that the base camp and the rest point being cleaned more frequently!

Hike to the summit - Super hard hike for me, but the view vas worth it! If you are an experienced trekker you should be okay. Our guide was very helpful and organized everything.

Very pleasant experience for a tough journey - We chose the 2D1N summit trek due to our tight schedule. Em personally took care of things and when he couldn't, his employees are still very commendable.
We were given a ride from the airport to Sembalun where Em would provide us with a very pleasant accomodation, complete with dinner and breakfast and very kind hosts.
At the starting point, we met our guide Ardy and later in the hike our porters Andi and Gandi. Ardy would pace us according to our fitness level and give us the best service, giving out candies and snacks to make sure we have enough energy to make the climb. The porters were also good cooks that they might even beat some of the local restaurants around Sembalun.
Unfortunately, my partner could not climb to the summit due to fatigue. The porters were very kind to provide her with breakfast and warm drinks while our guide and I went on to the summit.
When we finally reached the starting point it was already getting dark and we decided to spend another night in Sembalun and take the ride to our next destination on the next day. Em was very helpful in assisting us and gave us no extra charge except for the room.
It was a very pleasant experience that if we ever went to Rinjani again, we wouldn't hesitate to choose Em's service once more.

Unforgettable experience - Unforgettable experience !
Very well welcome by Em at his brother’s house the day before the trek. Excellent food and very nice people. The place was also really nice for the one night stay.
We did 2 days / 1 night from Sembalun to the top. We were a group of six and climbed with 1 guide and 4 porters. Huge huge respect to the porters who climb with at least 30 kg on their back and With flip flops. And still smiling… and they go much faster than you do haha. Special thanks to Dedi, our guide, who was of great help during the difficult night part to the summit and really pleasant to chat with along the whole climb. Many thanks as well to Ardi and the 3 other porters, always in a good mood and excellent cookers.
The tent were surprisingly very comfortable (inflatable mattress and pillow, sleeping bag). We also had small chairs and tables for lunch and diner.
The experience was tough but so worth it.

Mt Rinjani with the best crew!🌋🫶🏼 - Rinjani was on our bucket list since a long time an we are really happy to make our dream a reality with Em Adventures team. We did 3 days and 2 nights private trek starting from Sembalun Village. Em picked us up in Kuta a night before and we could take a good rest in lovely local guesthouse before the trek.
Our crew was amazing! Shoutout to our porters, who carried all equipment, water and food. As well as we would like to say thank you to our guide Luke (you can call him Rindu) who was really professional but friendly, who helped me to push last steps towards summit and who told us many interesting facts about Rinjani mountain!
The food was delicious. We had nasi goreng, curry, plenty of fruits and even a fish that our porters caught in the lake! 😊
Although we were not lucky with the weather on top, we enjoyed it to the fullest!
PS: We are coming again in the future for the views!😄🌋

Nice Sunset and Sunrise, too much trash. Not an easy hike - Very nice and Good Organized Trip. The food was very good and plenty! Our guide did his Job Good. He was super nice but we had a Little language Barrier because He just Started to learn English, so Information about time and distance was never really accurate. The Porter was amazing. Hiking Rinjani was worth it because of the beautiful Sunset and Sunrise. Besides that it’s quite a tough hike through a lot of Sand and dust at the top. Unluckily, there is so much trash at the camp site on top .. also, we reached the Camp by 2pm on the First day and since there wasnt anything to do we just waited until sunset and then dinner (which was at 8pm). All in all 3,5-4 Stars.

Better find the other ones! - Yes. They can communicate in English. However, the understanding is another story. They twisted the words accusing me saying something I really didn't. So, ended up didn’t climb up since there was a lot misunderstanding before the start. How could I endure the whole hiking trip with them? Kindly consider wisely with this operator. Hope you have a better experience.
