Kumana national park safari - The best Kumana park for safari experience.. The jeep had come to pick up from the hotel and the journey there was very interesting. The driver is a friendly gentleman. The driver saw more animals - It was a beautiful experience to see the leopards in Sri Lanka.. Even though the weather was quite hot, the jeep was well exposed so it was very comfortable. We were able to have a good look around.. Apart from leopards, we were able to see deer, elephants, pigs and various birds. The driver did not miss the animals and did not forget to show us and tell us information about the animals.. It was a very happy tour.

Excellent place to visit if you are in Arugam Bay - Kumana national park is also called Yala East. It is a lot smaller than Yala and much less crowdy. We booked in Arugam Bay, which included everything: entrance fee, 4x4 and driver/guide. You stay in the park for about 4 hours. We were lucky and saw all kinds of animals among which elephants and even a leopard.
