Brilliant - The tour is great, it’s the only one to have access to cool places, but the guide Ryan is the one who makes it amazing ! He gives life to the stories and makes the whole tour instructive, fun and spooky.

MUST-DO for lovers of the paranormal! - As the only tour with access to the Covenanters Prison in Greyfriar's Kirkyard, this is THE ghost tour to do in Edinburgh if you are a lover of the paranormal & dark history. Xander was an incredible and engaging guide; he is a talented storyteller as well as passionate & knowledgeable about the history. He even let me ramble at him about ghosts for a bit after the tour. If I'm ever in Edinburgh again, I would absolutely re-book this tour just for the thrills, chills, and unprecedented access to some of the city's most haunted spots!

Fun experience with our two teens. - We had a great time with Ben! He made sure that everyone was safe, and he was very engaging with his storytelling. We loved having access to the vaults and graveyard that others didn’t have access to, and it was a wonderfully fun experience with our two teens.

Superb tour! - With this being the only tour to go into the site of the Covenanter’s prison, it was a must-do for me! Sarah was our guide and she kept us enthralled throughout the entire tour. Her stories were engaging and spine-tingling. She was so personable and charismatic, she made the places on the tour resonate with history and tragedy. I would love to tour with her again!

Excellent tour - Our tour guide Natalie was excellent - a really good sense of dramatics, and a lot of interesting knowledge. It was great to see parts of the city not usually accessible.

Would definitely book again!! - Ryan was the absolute best tour guide! Even though it was the last tour of the night he was super energetic and entertaining and overall made it an amazing experience. He was also super knowledgeable about the gory history of edinburgh while being hilarious at the same time. I would 100% book another tour with Ryan!

The town has a wicked past and this tour brings you to a few of those place - We liked this tour. We had a hard time picking which nighttime tour to do. this one tours the southvaults and the cemetery. The vaults are gruesome The cemetery has some wicked stories and this tour brings you into a gated section a lot of people would love to get into. It is certainly creepy and has an air of evil in both areas. The tour guide was very knowledgable and fun
