The best bus trip ever with the best guide ever - It would be a shame to visit Scotland and not see their highlands, so we decided to take one of the guided paths and chose the route through Glencoe to the Glenfinnan Viaduct. I didn't have overly high expectations of the trip as a first-timer, I knew we would spend a lot of time on the bus, and I didn't do much research beforehand about what it would be like either, perhaps because the trip was recommended to us. I didn't even know how well-known Timberbush Tours was or how many of us would be on the bus, but it was filled to capacity with a range of age groups from young children to older people. Our tour guide was an Aussie named Mark and he was absolutely amazing. From the very beginning he told us about historical events and places, and always pointed out where to look, also he drived very well. In fact the whole trip was absolutely perfect because of him, and it wouldn't have been the same without his explanations and amusing attitude. I have to give his commentary absolutely the same weight as the whole trip itself and the beauty of the highlands. I was worried that we wouldn't be making enough toilet stops, but there were plenty of them and the guide always communicated well in advance when to expect a stop and where to find a toilet, possibly one that was free. The trip was absolutely worth the price. I came away from the whole experience completely fulfilled and full of not only memories of beautiful countryside and quaint towns, but a huge amount of (not only) historical knowledge. Thanks Mark, for being so great!

Excellent way to see the Scottish highlands - Our tour was a great experience. Alistar, our tour guide was quite attentive and continuously provided cultural remarks of landmarks throughout our drive. The Scottish highlands is a place everyone must see. The Glenfinnan viaduct and train was the cherry on top of the pie. Highly recommend this excursion.

Beautiful - We had the best time on our Highland tour to Glenfinnan. David and Adam were fantastic and made the experience so incredible! A few things to know- there’s a small hike at Glenfinnan if you want a better view of the train and it was pretty muddy, so don’t wear your white sneakers, bring layers because it can get chilly, and bring snacks and/or water bottle for the bus. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting!

Great Scenery, but lots of bus time - The tour had it's good and bad points. I loved most of the stops on our itinerary, but there was almost too much bus time, as some of the drives between points of interest were quite long.. The Glenfinnan Viaduct with the Hogwarts Express crossing over was definitely the highlight, and a lot of the scenery was gorgeous despite our slightly soggy day. The lunch stop was so-so, and very busy so it seemed rushed. Pitlochry toward the end of the tour was really nice and I wish we had a little longer there. Overall an enjoyable day.
