Highlights
  • Midhope Castle - We make our first stop at Midhope Castle, aka Lallybroch - home to Jamie Fraser.
  • Doune Castle - We then visit Doune Castle, one of Scotland’s best preserved medieval castles and used as the setting for Castle Leoch in Outlander. You’ll have time to explore this historic stronghold.
  • Culross - Our journey takes us on to the Kingdom of Fife, an area of great historical importance and the ancestral home of Scottish monarchs. We make a stop at Culross, where Claire was accused of witchcraft in the village of ‘Cranesmuir’. This charming village is the most complete example of a 17th and 18th century burgh in Scotland today.
  • Falkland - After lunch we will continue to the village of Falkland, used for filming 1940’s Inverness. With over 28 listed buildings it gives a good representation of this period.
  • Blackness Castle - Our final stop is at Blackness Castle, the 15th century fortress use to represent Fort William in the show.

Amazing - From the time you arrive to check-in until drop-off its an excellent experience My guide, Tim had so much information my mind was blown, as I was travelling solo he was also very helpful with taking some pictures for me. The tour itself was amazing! So many sites and areas of interest related to Outlander but if you need to drag along a non-Outlander fan it would still be an amazing day as the sites and towns you visit are so pretty and full of history

Outlander up close! - Tim was very informative. He gave us a lot of Scottish History to enhance what we already knew from Outlander. The bus ride was very comfortable, a brand new vehicle. It was very exciting to see all of the sights from the Outlander series . Excellent tour!

Beautiful tour, i enjoy the day entirely - Good journey, I'm amazed with the castles, the guide (Noah) was very good and polite, the tour was very nice. My wife is a fan of outlander (not me), but I enjoy the trip. Thank you for the experience. I had an explorer pass, but I don't know that some of the places are out of the benefits and not work for. Other than that, it was a nice day.

Family Trip - Excellent tour and guide was great and knowledgeable. We were able to cost most places on the tour with the exception of castle doune because they were in progress of filing season 8.

A MAZ ING - Martin was fabulous. What an amazing tour guide, he gave us Scotish history as well as Outlander info. We had such fun chats and saw some amazing sites. I loved Culcross, I will go back just to explore this cute town. We got to Midhope early and got to see Lallybrocg without too many people.
